60 Day Vacations for Members Who Abuse Moderators

Ziemowit
27 Aug 2015  #31

@ROGER
I feel you disrespect the Polish people by lording over them with your British Brilliance.

"British Brilliance" is the expression that best characterizes this PolishForum website. Basically, there is a huge over-representation of crazy or not quite normal Brits on this forum, plus they dwell here day and night, enhancing even further this rather nasty over-representasion. The administration of the site should do something about it. The PF has already become a platform for the English-teaching expats in Poland and their "British-brilliance" views on Poland rather than a genuine forum about Poland.

crazy or not quite normal Brits

Unlike, of course, the level-headed, reasonable Americans, who carefully consider all the facts before posting their opinions.

The administration of the site should do something about it.

This is an English language medium forum. Poland is in Europe. It therefore follows that British people resident in Poland will be "over-represented". On an English language forum in, say, Mexico, North Americans would appear more often than, say, British. What do you suggest Admin should do about it? If PolAms feel that strongly, they can move to Poland, acquire citizenship and actually contribute to Polands resurgence.

not quite normal Brits on this forum

Do you think the over use (ABUSE) of alcohol may play a part in this Ziemowit ?

plus they dwell here day and night,

Because they have no other life besides a bottle and their laptop to belittle and insult others with their brilliance.
Positively Negative:
They drank for joy and became miserable.
They drank for sociability and became argumentative
They drank for sophistication and became obnoxious
They drank for friendship and made enemies

It really doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what the problem is here Ziemowit.

Because they have no other life besides a bottle and their laptop to belittle and insult others with their brilliance.

You've been posting since just after four o'clock in the morning for the time-zone where you are. Either you got up at three-something in the morning so you could post utter rubbish on the internet, or it's neatly morning and you're still up posting utter rubbish on the internet. Neither option shows you in a positive light. But what can be expected from somebody who boasts about breaking a nun's nose?

johnny reb
27 Aug 2015  #35

Harry are you stalking me or are you just trying to run my life again.

or it's neatly morning and you're still up posting

Harry let's keep that a mystery story or you can kiss my a$$ and turn it into a love story.

so you could post utter rubbish

Did I hit a little to close to home on my last post Harry ?

What do you suggest Admin should do about it?

To be honest, there isn't perhaps much Admin can do about it. At first, I thought about "quotas" of time or words allocated to a specific group to prevent the over-representation of a particulat one. I think he has tools to perform some calculatons first. Let's say he counts the number of characters printed by Jon357, Delphiandomine and Harry together over certain periods of time, say: one month, three months, six months and one year (these figures should be adjusted for the times of suspensions, however) and then present it as a percentage of the total number of characters printed by all members of the PF. Guests and off-topic bin should be excluded. I think we would have received interesting results and who knows, maybe these results would remind us of the distribution of wealth on the planet where the top 1% own 50% of total wealth!

If not that, it would be fairer on the part of Admin to do the minimum and at least change the motto of the site from "The ultimate guide to Poland" into "The subjective British guide to Poland" which would reflect the state of affairs as they are.

This is an English language medium forum. Poland is in Europe. It therefore follows that British people resident in Poland will be "over-represented". On an English language forum in, say, Mexico, North Americans would appear more often than, say, British

What I have objected more to was not the British presence in itself, but the presence of "British brilliance" represented by many British members on the forum. I'm not saying that all British persons here indulge in British Brilliance. One such moderate British person is Rozumnienić (although she obviously has her little raids into that direction, too). Personally, I would also include yourself, Roger, into that group (despite your constant clashes with JR) and also Delph, since he is often rather more deliberately provoking than genuinely "British-brilliant". Another such person was perhaps Pam who recently revealed herself again on the PF as guest "Chemikiem", though she as a moderator was once fiercly accusing me of a thing that I had not done. On the other hand, we have the most extremely "British-brilliant" persons among whom I count Dougpol1 (I hope his dog is different) and to some extend Smurf, although the latter is Irish, but there are always people who try to be more papist that the pope.

Do you think the over use (ABUSE) of alcohol may play a part in this Ziemowit ?

Judging by the detailed information on alcohol and drinking revealed from time to time by a certain member, I may agree with that. It is not rocket science, but your four sentences so rightly, I would even say, British-brilliantly :), describe the roots for the drinking problem experienced by many people, not only by the PF members

They drank for joy and became miserable.
They drank for sociability and became argumentative
They drank for sophistication and became obnoxious
They drank for friendship and made enemies

Guys, this place has always been a meeting point for all sorts of people - weirdos like you and I included... :)
If you don't like it or can't handle it, just leave. Simples.

also Delph, since he is often rather more deliberately provoking than genuinely "British-brilliant".

One point : I would never associate myself with Britain willingly ;) It still pains me to realise that I have to renew my British passport as opposed to getting a Scottish one :(

jon357

I'm totally the other way, Delph. I think we're better together, even though if the salmon and the sturgeon had got their way I'd have had a choice of a new passport too, two even - in which case I'd just have waited for my Polish one. I just think we're better together - united we stand, divided we fall, one great island, three great countries united in brotherhood, kinship and love.

Worth mentioning though that Yorkshire has existed as a discrete entity (and was once a kingdom) for longer than Scotland (and has the same population) and the Yorkshire devolution movement (we want DevoMax) is worth watching.

As for the 'Brit bullies' nonsense, you hit the nail on the head. Poland is in Europe, this forum is in English, there's considerable two-way movement between the two countries and there are many people originally from the UK who have far stronger and deeper links to Poland than someone in Missouri or wherever whose great-granny hot-tailed it out of our adopted home a century ago and never went back.

As for the 'Brit bullies' nonsense,

Nonsense when you have over half the people here agreeing that you and your gang are like a pack
of wild dogs after a b!tch in heat with your belittlements, insults and brilliance when you disagree with
someone that has a valid point. Hahahahahaha

and also Delph, since he is often rather more deliberately provoking than genuinely "British-brilliant".

No Delph, he said that you are not genuinely "brilliant" and that you enjoy deliberately provoking by stirring the sh!t to make it stink.

You know how you like to push the buttons of others to get a pi$$ing contest going and then join in on which ever side is winning

with even more of your provoking comments.
If you were to be confined to prison my guess is that it would only be one or two days before someone shanked you

jon357

agreeing

So basically when two or more people disagree with you (as most do) and say so, they must be a 'gang'?

If you were to be confined to prison

Done time, have you?

johnny reb
28 Aug 2015  #42

No, basically that is what you are saying.
What I am saying is when you and your side kicks intentionally provoke members (not just me) and start with the nasty insults (like you are famous for) and the belittlements start and you try to lord over other members with pseudo Brit authority is how you got your name of the Brit Bullies.

Like Z said, you and Harold have to respond and correct ever post on here to your liking.
You are relentless like a mosquito and will go on like that LTGB thread for weeks over a point that WHO CARES yet you INSIST

on camping on it until you wear the other person down to exhaustion. Usually three or four of you pack up and game on.
In short you and your Brit Bullies are bunch of self appointed busy bodies that insist on controlling this forum and none of you are even Polish or Polish decent.

I have to sign off for a bit before Harold gets up or he will wonder if I am coming or going. lol

jon357
28 Aug 2015  #43

you and your side kicks

There you go again.

the belittlements start

This is pretty well all you do.

respond and correct ever post on here to your liking.

Better not do that - someone might think it's a discussion forum...

I say, this is the cleverest desription of the Brit bullies ever heard on this forum!
My guess is that even Atch would sign up to it with utmost belief.

A time-sharing scheme may perhaps be a good solution for reconciling the right for free speech with the annoyance for the forum caused by certain British members. Since they are jon357 and Harry who cause the greatest problems, I suggest they should only be allowed alternate posting on every other 12-hour period*) which will disrupt any coordinated attack of theirs on a member - such attack usually disheartening the willingness of the majority of other members to take part in the discussion.

*) whether it is a day or night shift is irrelevant since they post incessantly

It still pains me to realise that I have to renew my British passport as opposed to getting a Scottish one :(

I am entirely on your side, brother.

You've made Johnny Rebel an intellectual!
I find the choice of the word 'bully' interesting. Bullies attack vulnerable, weak or inferior people. That someone would use it about themselves is telling. The fact is that the common denominator between the people you accuse of bully is not nationality but that we live here and know what's going on in the country. Reacting to nonsense from people who have no idea whatsoever about Poland is, in my opinion, reasonable. So if four or five people from roughly the same area agree, that makes us bullies, right? What about the racists and gay-haters on here? Are they bullies?

Given that the only 'desriptions' of the gang you have invented, 'Mo, come from your fellow members of the three stooges, any description which was spelled correctly and grammatically would be the cleverest such description.

Thank you for the compliment Z.
As you can see you it hit a nerve with the pack of dogs (Brit Bullies) as they responded One, Two, Three as always.

You've made Johnny Rebel an intellectual

Ur jest jealous ain't sha ROGER. :-)
Maybe it was you three guys that Pol3 mistook for the attack dogs in Homo Square.

Roger5
28 Aug 2015  #48

Could a mod advise whether it is acceptable for members to refer to other members as dogs.

OK, Slingblade, it seems that name-calling if fine on PF. Tell me, do you ever post anything of any value whatsoever on here regarding Poland? No, you couldn't, could you? You started trolling this forum about a year ago and have added absolutely nothing positive to it. Your stock is pretty low around here. Why not go to vet next time you feel ill? He might put you and us out of our misery.

You do have a tendency to put words in my mouth don't you? Do you mean I'd agree with the description of our British members? Not in the least. Remember that culturally I have a lot more in common with them than I do with Poles or Americans so I don't find myself in conflict with them as often as you guys. However..........here's an example of an issue on which I would disagree with one of them.

I just think we're better together - united we stand, divided we fall, one great island, three great countries united in brotherhood, kinship and love.

Spoken like a true Englishman!

No, you are right. So let's see........ shall we?

Hahahahahaha

You know how you like to push the buttons of others to get a pi$$ing contest going

- Now now johnny, we do wonder why all your posts end up in the bin because they have nothing to do with the topic. But ok........ lets see........

(like you are famous for) and the belittlements start

Like you never called members "Hans" or "Fritz" because you thought it was funny? And you could not even get it right trying to be funny when saying "Hauns" :-)

Ur jest jealous ain't sha ROGER. :-)

Nobody, literally nobody, will ever be jealous about what you believe you have achieved. You can't even spell.
