Poland under pressure of EU to accept more asylum seeking refugees

Nasty

Nasty but true! Do you live in some kind of fairyland where there are no problems and everything is super-harmonious and hunky-dory? We all know you are a big fan of the PC cosntruct with all its misaleading buzzwords, misnomers and euphemisms, but even you cannot be that blinkered!

Libs of Europe wake up?

That will probably never happen. Libs and lefties will be obedietnly standing in the decapitaiton queue enthusiasticlaly chanting "long live multi-culti!" That's why they're called libtards and leftards!

Does your fantasy impact on those people fleeing the Erdogan's regime?

terrorists attacks

if you can name a terrorist attack committed by a Kemalist secular White Turk fleeing the Erdogan regime, please feel free to do so...

Are people fleeing? They're not rolling across borders en masse. I'm sure there's a slow motion brain drain as Erdogan's purges will dumb down the country's bureaucracy and academic environment (as the smart people will start getting out while the getting is good).

Turks don't rly tend to blow ppl up... They're more of a victim of that by other groups. The Kurds wage an insurgency against them but I can kind of understand why. There's like 40 mil of them without much of an official homeland aside from perhaps northern iraq

Not yet, at any rate! Give this Erdogan bloke time though, and I'm not so sure.

kurds are far from a unified group there are several different languages and at least two literary standards (in different alphabets) and lots of other divisions. One thing of note: Turkish Kurds tend to be more religious than Turks while Iraqi Kurds tend to be significantly less religious than other Iraqis... Turkish Kurds in Europe tend to be overrepresented in crime while other Kurds are much less involved....

The Kurds, like the Azaberjani, speak a language closely related to, yet NOT mutually intelligible with, Turkish.

No. Kurdish languages are Indo-Aryan, therefore Indo-European related to Persian (Farsi), Pashtun, Tajik and others.

Turkish and Azeri/baijani are Altaic, different language family (though not all linguists accept Altaic as a single family)

Apologies then, Maf! I remembered that Farsi and a few others were in fact Indo-European aka "-Aryan" languages as well, but forgot about Kurdish. That would also explain how different the word stock from the Turkic-based Turkish (despite of course the extra-heavy Arabic overlay from centuries of Ottoman rule).

Azeri though I know for a fact is Turkic in origin, since a number of her basic greeting phrases track nearly the same as Turkish!

Merrit Ruhlen from Harvard, I believe, classifies Altaic with "Nostratic", which even includes Basque, Burshaski along with a few other language isolates,

"Nostratic"

Not sure if anything still takes that seriously. Nice idea, but....

Hey, we eventually rejected Budenz' fancy theory of the relationship between Hungarian and Turkish, but it sure held sway for a long time. Most theories are supplanted eventually by other ones:-)

What a nasty thing to say.

Get back in your box Jon.

Other than the term "towelhead" there was nothing nasty about Polonius' comment.

A disproportionate number of Muslim men have groomed white English girls......fact

Wonder how many white Anglos have wanted to gang rape young Muslim women. Violence cuts both ways, friend:-)

Do you seriously believe something like that would be covered up by the press?

On the other hand: lr-online.de/regionen/elbe-elster/herzberg/Es-gab-fuer-mich-keine-Anzeichen;art1056,6087875

"model" Syrian refugee up and slits his female boss's throat (she survived)

buried lede: it seems that it might be a result of him 'gettin' religion' he went from unobservant muslim to talking about Allah a lot to trying to kill his (female) boss in that order. Let that sink in.

Keep wondering.

It is impossible to know what people "want" to do. What we do know is that Muslim men from Pakistani and Bangladeshi origins have abused white English girls.

German youth in years past had been known to abuse Turkish teenage girls, and more than even several times.

Source?

Don't make the mistake and confuse Turks with Kurds, by the way. Many Germans of Turkish (as in 'nationality') descent are actually Kurds. Call them Turks and you are in big trouble.
Lyzko

I'd never make such a mistake either, TheOther. However, it is well known that German anger at Turks has gone back at least thirty-five years or so and counting! In "retaliation" for Turkish men allegedly raping German girls, German men were known to take matters into their own hands.
