USA News and Poland - part 11

Details of the investigation of Trumps first assassination attempt from the Senate Report has a trail going right back to Iran and the C.I.A..
This threat goes back to "Four Years AGO".!
Trumps Secret Service Security team was DENIED counter intelligence to protect him.
They would have picked that shooter out before he even got up on the roof.
Those guys a very good at what they do.
It was the first time ever that Trump had snipers to his events if you can imagine that.
They did it 8 days before the shooting because there were whistle blowers ready to come forward that Trump was going to get killed.
Why were the secret service counter intelligence denied to be there that day when they were requested to be there ?
The Iranian sniper threat was know about before hand and they did nothing about it.
My government sucks and doesn't want Trump to be president.
The Secret Service knew 27 minutes before hand that there was a threat to Trump but did nothing.
They can't let Trump win because if he does a lot of important people will be going to prison..
Just wait until this all comes out and it will soon.
You will be shocked at what they are not telling us just like they did with 9/11.

There is actually video online of Amish wit Trump flags on their buggies.

Can you post that video for us.
I personally have many Amish friends and just ran into some of them.
I told them about this knowing that the Amish do not vote.
They informed me that this was news to them and highly doubted what I was telling them.
Please post that video and the source it came from as it must be a joke someone posted.

I have a question for either Bobko or Velund...

Can boys in Russia menstruate?

I am keenly aware that my question may be shocking to you as much as the news that some boys in America can and do menstuate was to me.

You see...I was in a high school last Tuesday and found a tampon dispenser in the boy's restroom. Holy fvck! How could this be! Then I was told that some boys do menstruate in the US and that's why the school installed that dispenser.

How is it in Russia?

How is it in Russia?

There are no Tampon Tim Walz type freaks in Russia..... Vote for Trump and end this woke madness..

America can and do menstuate was to me.

Ask Lyzko he seems like the type.

Its on instagram. I dont use this forum on my phone, and didnt save a link. Plenty on google about the republican push to get the Amish to vote though and they have been doing so since 2019. anabaptistworld.org/ohio-amish-show-trump-support/ From Ohio, but there are pictures. Still, the voter registrations in Pennsylvania are way up, and definitely in the republican column. foxnews.com/politics/criss-crossing-pa-register-voters-scott-presler-key-counties-flip-red scroll down this article, and there is a picture of an Amish woman carrying a Trump sign.

I am sending in my mail in ballot today. Kennedy is now seeking to stay on the ballot in NY in order to take votes away from Harris. Excellent play since Harris is suing to keep Kennedy on the ballot in six states. The democratic scum will do anything to stay in power. It is sickening how they have gone about things.

Plenty on google about the republican push to get the Amish to vote

I don't think that will ever happen if you have ever talked with the Amish.
They serve God the Father and not an immortal man.
They may support the lesser of two evils like Trump, however, I have never heard of an Amish person actually casting a vote in government.
I know the Amish get perturbed when they have to buy licenses and be inspected to sell home canned foods like pickles, relishes and beets.
Their kids can't even sell their chickens eggs without having a government inspector coming in and giving them a license. $
None of the Amish canned foods, baked goods, eggs or meat that I have bought from them in the last fifty years has killed me yet, before these Woke laws went into effect.
No PolAm, I would be very surprised if not shocked to see an Amish person vote OR join the military in any country.
Are there any Amish in Poland ?

PolAmKrakow
26 Sep 2024  #366

@johnny reb
I am not aware of any Amish in Poland but there could be. A quick google and there are some Mennonites. Just outside of Grand Rapids there is a pretty decent sized Amish or Mennonite community I used to buy furniture from for the cottage, and I know they voted. In PA there are some laws being passed that will take away their right to farm as collectives, being pressed by democrats. Eventually even the Amish will get pi$$ed off enough to take action.

johnny reb

and I know they voted. I

They do have different leaders in different areas of the country that may allow it.
I will ask how it works the next time I go to their butcher shop.
They sure do a nice job processing deer for $125.
Skin, cut up, grind and cryovac ready for the freezer.
their right to farm as collectives

They own thousands of acres of farm land in Michigan.
I went into one of their bakeries to get a loaf of jalapeno bread and the Amish kid behind the counter reached in his cash box and handed me the exact change without a calculator or pencil and paper.
I counted it and looked at him and ask him how old he was and he said, nine.
90% of public high school students couldn't do that.
Amish only go to their own schools until eighth grade.
even the Amish will get pi$$ed off enough to take action.

They will just wait until there is no food in the super markets when China and Mexico slap the U.S. with huge tariffs on food.
(What comes around goes around)
They then will sell their excess to the U.S. Government at a premium.

@johnny reb
thelancasterpatriot.com/pda-sues-amos-miller/ I think the Amish may get out to vote after reading this. Michelle Henry is a far left democrat. This would effect every Amish community in the State.

The bumper sticker on my truck reads: Independence Criminalized

Meanwhile Harris shoots herself in the foot again on the Second Amendment
It's hard to reconcile Vice President Kamala Harris's friendly overtures to gun owners with the footage that recently emerged of a 2007 press conference in which the then-district attorney of San Francisco said cops could conduct random home inspections to enforce compliance with the city's new "safe storage" laws.
Even now when you go in to see your Dr. one of the questions they ask you is, "Do you have guns in your home ?"
I put down, "Nun ya"
Tell me PolAm, how do you think it would go if a cop showed up at Novi's house and said that they were coming in his home to see how his guns were stored. 🤣
This bltch is nuts and calls Trump a dictator. lol

Woman argue and fight with cops. Stupid.

Trump civil fraud case went in front of NYS appeals court, and the judges openly questioned the whole basis for the case. Oral arguments did not go well for the prosecution, and the court openly asked if the statute has even been used before to openly prosecute two equally matched business operators. The answer to that question was "no". The alleged real estate over valuations, has put a real slow down into commercial lending and development in NYC since the case was brought. No victim, no complaint from any party involved, and zero impact to the market from the parties lending agreements on anyone else. Just an over zelous prosecutor looking to take down someone and I dont think it would have mattered if it was Trump or anyone else.

We all knew this was coming.......well Joker and I anyways as we kept telling jon and Lyzko that there wasn't any case against Trump but they banged on because of what they read in the bias media to destroy Trump.
We kept telling the Trump haters to sit tight and wait and see that these charges and convictions will be over turned in the apelet courts and guess what, they now are.
Told ya so.
And to add icing to the cake this morning......Trump takes a 10 point lead over Harris !
America is finally waking up.
Now if we can just keep the man alive from these Marxist M.F.ers we should be taking our country back soon from these sick M.F.ers.
Thank God for answering our prayers.

in for quite a surprise in November

As they were last time.

Something that surprised me is that they employ thousands of paid canvassers to call at people's houses. In Europe, where canvassing exists, it's party volunteers who do it, almost always in the community they live in, or not far away. The idea of paying random bods to do that is bizarre. Slightly sick.

We need to see more of that lard arse Vance.

Vance is the gift that keeps on giving for President Harris and Vice President Walz. There is going to be a VP debate soon, which will seal the fate of the MAGAniacs once and for all...

The idea of paying random bods to do that is bizarre. Slightly sick.

That's why I say that US elections largely boil down to who has more cash.

Of course, there are notable exceptions. In 2010, Meg Whitman - the former ceo of eBay and HP, spent $140M of her own money, only to lose the California gubernatorial election to Jerry Brown.

During the 2020 presidential primaries, the founder of Bloomberg and former mayor of NYC - Michael Bloomberg spent a whopping $1B of his own money on the campaign. He ended up winning only the territory of American Samoa.

However, in dozens of other places - like Illinois, for example - billionaires and children of billionaires are routinely successful at buying elections.

Deploying hundreds, and sometimes thousands of staffers, while flooding the airwaves with barrages of paid ads - they leave little chance for the unknown candidate to break through.

This is what you get when the Supreme Court defines money as a form of speech, and you have the possibility of unlimited funding.

In England, a political party has a legally mandated spending limit of £30,000 per constituency. That is, if all 650 constituencies are contested, a party can spend a maximum of £19.5M. Compare that to the billions that get spent in America during a general election. It's quite literally a hundred times more money, for a country that is only 5 times the size in terms of population.

£19.5M is less than the cost of some senatorial campaigns in a peripheral American state (if the parties are really clashing with each other for an additional seat in the Senate).

I know AntV disagrees, but I agree with you Jon that this is quite a perverse way to run things. Rich people, elect other rich people, to pass laws benefiting rich people. We may as well be living in the 19th century.

Novichok

spent $140M of her own money,

A sane person would not spend 140M to get a job that pays 234k a year.
they leave little chance for the unknown candidate to break through.

This is why American "democracy" is joke.

On top of this, they think that voting every four years is "democracy" and can't accept that voting and "democracy" are two separate things.

A country can be a democracy without voting. Another one can have voting and no democracy. The US is in that category because voting does not create a legally binding contract.

They are allowed to lie before elections and give the voters the middle finger once in office.

That's why I don't vote.

Bobko

This is why American "democracy" is joke

Imagine that things in the US were like in Britain, or I don't know - the Netherlands - to use a more politically neutral example.

Imagine a candidate for the house or the senate or governor was capped at spending no more than $40K.

Then there would be no JB Pritzker. No Jon Huntsman. No Mitt Romney. No Kennedys, and no Bushs.

I bet a person such as yourself could go and find enough men and women of the same mind as you, collect $40K in contributions, and actually be able to get your message across to Illinoians.

Of course, the names of various senators and congressmen would not be household names any longer... but why is that a bad thing? In the UK, nobody knows any individual MPs, except if they are very colorful people like Galloway or Farage.

Why should I, living in New York, be bombarded daily with information about an election in a congressional district in New Mexico?

PolAmKrakow
27 Sep 2024  #387

@Bobko
IF campaign funding was to ever be regulated, the largest loby against it would be the press. Campaign money every cycle is the life blood for thease leaches.

Bobko
27 Sep 2024  #388

IF campaign funding was to ever be regulated

If campaign funding was regulated you would stop having these extremely strange elections that go 50/50 straight down the middle.

That would probably be one of the first results.

I think any foreigner thinks it's extremely strange that no matter who Americans are choosing between, the contest always goes down to the wire.

jon357
27 Sep 2024  #389

In the UK, nobody knows any individual MPs, except if they are very colorful people like Galloway or Farage

People tend to know the name of their own, and generally a few others, either in their region or ones who get media coverage for campaigns, scandals etc. And usually the key figures in the cabinet.

The appalling Galloway isn't an MP, btw. He lost his seat in the last election. Farage hasn't been seen in his constituency since he scraped in and may be subject to an ouster next year.

Bobko
27 Sep 2024  #390

usually the key figures in the cabinet.

Right.

Would you know the names of more than 15-20 of the 650 MPs sitting in the House of Commons?

Living in America, I can probably rattle off at least 50-60 representatives names, and 15-20 governors. I don't think it's because I have such a photographic memory, but because politics are a religion here in the United States. It's everywhere, and inescapable.

Tocqueville talked about this, in his "Democracy in America". He linked it to isolation and loneliness.

He said, most democratic societies place a big emphasis on individualism, the reverse side of the coin of which is isolation and loneliness. This prompts people to form various stupid associations to combat this loneliness.

Quoting Tocqueville:

"In democratic countries, the science of association is the mother science; the progress of all the others depends on the progress of that one. Among the laws that rule human societies, there is one which seems more precise and clear than all the others. If men are to remain civilized or to become so, the art of associating together must grow and improve in the same ratio in which the equality of conditions is increased."

And another quote, from Volume 2, Part 2:

"As social conditions become more equal, the number of persons increases who, although they are neither rich enough nor powerful enough to exercise any great individual influence upon the fate of their fellow men, have nevertheless acquired or retained sufficient education and fortune to satisfy their own wants. They owe nothing to any man, they expect nothing from any man; they acquire the habit of always considering themselves in isolation, and they readily imagine that their whole destiny is in their own hands."

"Thus not only does democracy make every man forget his ancestors, but it hides his descendants and separates his contemporaries from him; it throws him back forever upon himself alone and threatens in the end to confine him entirely."
