Whether Obama saved the economy back in the day is up for debate. He certainly saved some big companies. If government administration of health care is 21st century, I'm happy with 20th century HC. Gov managed HC doesn't have a stellar track record, I know Poland's is in bad shape and, if news reports are correct, the problems with UK's NHS was one of the big reasons the conservatives were ousted.

The Amerrican HC saved my wife's life and mine when we both contracted cancer.

The AHC spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in the process when we both were already retired and a drain on the system and the country. Any other place would tag both us with "Do Not Bother" or "It Can Wait".

I will never forget it as long as I am alive. When she was diagnosed with cancer she was operated the next day. The next surgery two months later took 8 hours and as many medics in the room.

During my second trip to Poland in 2019, I tried to see a doctor in Warsaw because I felt like shlt. It was late Saturday. They wanted money first. No, we will not take you CC or your travel insurance. Next day, I was on the way to the civilized US where I would be seen at the ER of any hospital with no questions asked if I can pay. I know because on my return I asked.

BTW, I flew in on Thursday. Three days later, I was on the way home. Bye, azholes...
