USA News and Poland - part 11

@PolAmKrakow
Your point is partisan, based on conspiracy. The effect and point of these proposed measures is disenfranchisement.
If this is such a threat to US democracy then the US needs to sort out its admin but as said, if they do the whinging starts about big government. How small should government be?

I understand why you left PF for so long.

I sense your exhaustion and feel your pain.

As JR correctly observed, I don't shy away from a good argument. I actually like opposing views. But even arguments have rules we should observe. The problem here is that the idiots and leftist morons don't follow any debate rules. All debates with them end up with a cute BS, "no, it's not", or "you are... such and such" - your typical debate enders.

I can't debate that...just as I can't debate "You are a racist".

In my dreams, there would be four to six guys in the Chicago area to just bs once a week.

The effect and point of these proposed measures is disenfranchisement.

On my island, I would add "an informed citizen" test.

I had to submit to such test when I was applying for the US citizenship.

First question: Do you know what country you are in right now?

Yes, I know, it would be "racist".

Yes, we have national ID cards, everyone has one and they are free.

So if the US introduced that it would stop all this nonsense. There are 10s of millions of US citizens that don't have any of the 3 documents you describe

A US citizen needs only one document to apply for a passport: his birth certificate.

Barney

if the US introduced that it would stop all this nonsense

But that would be big government and the concerned citizens refuse to say how small is small enough.

Novichok
19 Sep 2024  #186

But that would be big government

The government would actually shrink.

With US passports given to all US citizens, the Feds wouldn't have to spend time and money sniffing for illegal voters. The system would be self-enforcing.

My question to me is this: Hey, Novi, why are you wasting you precious time on Euro morons?

I have no fvcking idea...

why are you wasting you precious time on Euro morons?

No, the question is why are Europeans wasting their time with Pol Am morons like you?

I have a solution...A Euro-free PF zone. BB, Bobko, and Velund exempt.

PolAmKrakow

There are 10s of millions of US citizens that don't have any of the 3 documents you describe

That is a completely false and unsubstantiated statement. There are tens of millions of illegals in the USA though, and thats a well documented fact.

I got the figure from here. 21 million, or 10 percent of the electorate

@cms neuf
LMAO from one of the most far left liberal propaganda machines that there ever has been. The only people who pay attention to them are extreme far left socialist democrats and the students they indoctrinate. Thats absolutely unsubstantiated conjecture.

cms neuf

You wouldn't accept any source - and you wouldn't accept any document either. Would just say they were forged, or demand some other step like a language test

It's clear to us in Europe that the European Americans are doing everything they can to resist minorities having a voice equivalent to their population

PolAmKrakow
20 Sep 2024  #193

@cms neuf
I believe in actual studies, like the census. Where the whole idea of millions of American citizens not having documentation is completely not supported. As for a language test, Poland has one, so why shouldnt the United States? Illegals, not minorities deserve no voice anywhere, they are illegal. Minorities born in the US all get a birth certificate, and can order more official copies easily. Stop with the unsupported idea of millions would be effected, its simply not true. Was Bill Clinton a European American?

cms neuf
20 Sep 2024  #194

He's certainly not an African American, he's latinx, he's not indigenous. So yep, European American.

So you have said it - you want a language test too.

jon357
20 Sep 2024  #195

Poland has one, so why shouldnt the United States?

Does the US have an official language?

And what about Spanish which millions speak as their first language? Or Indigenous languages? Why would Native Americans either from the US or not respect the border with Mexico? It isn't theirs.

PolAmKrakow
20 Sep 2024  #196

@jon357
You dont know that Native Americans do not need a passport for borders of Mexico and Canada? They simply show their native ID. Cant be denied entry or exit. I have many friends who are members of Canadian First Nations Tribes, and have worked with many well known First Nations people in my business. sac-isc.gc.ca/eng/1100100032399/1572459562067

The United States does not have an "official language" but many States do designate English as their official language.

@cms neuf
I said I dont see a problem with a language test when other countries require them, I didn't say I support making it happen. I think it is something that should be voted on.

Since you agree Bill Clinton is a European American, then please watch youtube.com/watch?v=1IrDrBs13oA This was the democratic position. And now, when its is a republican position, the democrats object to it. Clinton was a great president. One of the best in many ways. Clinton was also responsible for voter registration changes to get more minorities to vote and rightly so. His changes though, created some of the loop holes that exist to allow non citizens to gain voting opportunities. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Voter_Registration_Act_of_1993 There is zero evidence that millions would not be able to vote if required to prove their citizenship. But there is plenty of evidence that potentially millions do have access to voting, whether by mistake or on purpose, who should not be able to vote.

You dont know that Native Americans do not need a passport for borders of Mexico and Canada

I do know that, and of course it should apply to all indigenous people from that region, many of whom from Central America are being demonised by the right wing and openly called "illegal immigrants".

many States do designate English as their official language

Perhaps Spanish will be designated by some in the future.

PolAmKrakow
20 Sep 2024  #198

@jon357
This is where the problem lies. Central American Natives do not have special status given to them in their countries. Because they are all one nationality. And Central America is not North America. As for the language, States can do what they want, has no effect on me. But States cannot determine who has a right to vote and who does not. The constitution makes that determination, and the same voting provisions in the US Constitution are actually in many State constitutions.

People from any nation who cross into any other nation without going through the process are committing a crime and are illegal. There is no argument that can be made to make it any different. Its the same in Poland, and nothing should change that here or in the US. If you do not want to go through the right channels, then you just cant stay.

jon357

Central American Natives do not have special status given to them in their countries

Yes, arbitrary boundaries and borders should not apply to them.

It's important to give as many people the vote as possible. Restrictions only tend to favour the right wing, and obviously the democrats are the only party to support a government for the many, not the few.

Restrictions only tend to favour

favor the Constitution of the United States of America.
The law is written and the Marxist Liberals like you want to change it even though you are not even a U.S. citizen.
You are jealous and want America to fail in Socialism just like Europe is.
Go blow your smoke elsewhere Commie troll.

PolAmKrakow
20 Sep 2024  #201

@jon357
Arbitrary boundries? LOL Borders have been in place for centuries, native people had their own borders. Illegals are not legal and should never vote. They have no right to vote or any other right. Restrictions favor legal voters. Want to vote, then enter the country, any country legally, and become a citizen. Any other suggestion is laughable and simply not even intelligently made.

@johnny reb
The whole discussion involving non American citizens shows just how fvcked up the leftist socialist agenda is. Lets divide the USA into two parts for an experiment. One side made socialist and the other a democratic republic and then we can see how the socialists fare in 70 years. Oh wait, never mind, we already have North and South Korea.

My earlier prediction still stands: Trump will lose for a reason similar to why we get tired of guests after three days no matter how lovely and entertaining they are.

America got tired of Trump and his clown rallies.

Additionally, we don't like the drama of US president being on a hit list.

Memo to Trump: Take your Trump plane to Havana to watch the results.

If you win, fly right back.

If you lose, on to Moscow as a refugee. The FSB will protect you a lot better than the SS morons who thought that a guy with an AR on the roof was there just to have a better view.

johnny reb

Oh wait, never mind, we already have North and South Korea.

Excellent point PolAm
We could use the State of California too.
They won't give up though trying to indoctrinate the low information voters with their Marxist agenda to destroy the Constitution which stands right in the way of their agenda.
45 days until election and people are starting to see through it from what I am hearing on the street.

45 days until election and people are starting to see through

Based on facts and common sense, Trump should be our Putin and lead 80 to 20.

Insated, he is behind 50 to 45.

jon357
20 Sep 2024  #205

Borders have been in place for centuries

Quite. Imposed on people.

As I say, the more voters, the better. People turning out to vote helps to keep the right wing out of power.

PolAmKrakow
20 Sep 2024  #206

@jon357
And yet you argue that Ukraine borders mean something. You make no sense, and lose credibility with these kinds of statements. And you are willing to do anything to keep republicans out of power including allowing illegals to vote. Yet, the referendums taken in Donetsk and Luhansk were illegal? I actually thought if I engaged solely on facts, you might actually offer something other than your smug attitude or socialist agenda. But you cant help yourself.

@Novichok
I dont believe the polls. Remember Hillary was going to win by 15% easily. All these polls are being conducted by those same people.

jon357
20 Sep 2024  #207

Ukraine borders mean something

Don't they?

In America, it's all about supporters of one party trying to reduce the number of votes for the other; something they have a history of doing.

The only important thing is keeping the right wing where they belong; away from power.

PolAmKrakow
20 Sep 2024  #208

arbitrary boundaries and borders should not apply to them.

Then they should not apply to anyone. Ukraine, Poland, England, or anyone else. If borders mean nothing for the US they sure as fvck mean a whole lot less for Ukraine.

You can have you North Korea, China and Cuba. With all the love of socialism, it is a wonder why you stay in Poland. Poland was saved by capitalism, and its capitalism that is the only form of social economic life that actually works. Everything else fails.

Novichok
20 Sep 2024  #209

I dont believe the polls. Remember Hillary was going to win by 15% easily.

My problem is not the accuracy. It's the closeness.

A proven record of peace and prosperity meets a non-verbal giggling moron and it's 50 - 45 for the giggling moron???

Has America gone insane?

Novichok
20 Sep 2024  #210

Poland was saved by capitalism, and its capitalism

There is a video on YouTube where students are asked: Socialism or capitalism? They all say socialism - until they are told what it would be in their case.

The same with affirmative action. They are all for it except in sports. Then they suddenly like meritocracy. The NFL being 70% black is not a problem at all. Zero Asians.
