I am speaking from firsthand experience. Our cousin, who lived and worked in America, retired and moved back to Poland. Smart as she is, she retained her Medicare benefits. She needed a knee replacement. Unable to do the procedure promptly, she asked my wife to help her. My wife's surgeon volunteered to help. Not even a week after arrival, she had her diseased knee successfully replaced and spent a month recovering in our house.
Why am I bringing this up? For a simple reason, her comparison of healthcare care quality in America and Poland.No comparison at all
Hellish, dismissive treatment is in Poland, and almost a spa treatment and respect in America. She could not believe the single room; she controlled the room's climate.
TV had hundreds of channels and individual menu selections
that were unknown in Poland. Respect. Medicare-covered the lion's share of the bill. A month later, she returned to Poland a new person with tanks and gratitude.

My mother had both of her knees replaced and was walking around soon after. Its been over two years now and its like shes good as new:)


I know this girl who had her appendix burst in Poland and had emergency surgery. They left her with this huge ugly scar across her belly.
