Why is a vacation in Jamaica such an impossible dream?

I have been to Jamaica over forty times over the years and even built a house there.
So I know the ropes and can go there for a third of what they would spend for the same amount of time.
A vacation like this is out of their budget and I say this not to diminish or shame them.
62% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.
And the way the Snitch constantly posts about money tells me that he is one of these 62%.
He may have inherited Daddy's house and a little cash that has been long blown but that is about it.

To be fair, while on holiday most of us do whip out our phones and briefly go online, maybe read the news or sports headlines, perhaps check social media, upload a photo there, check for urgent emails, things like that. But what I've never done is gone on holiday and then sat in a restaurant using my laptop for hours on end, let alone to do something as insignificant as posting on PF. I'm sure everybody else is the same. So why is Jim the self-confessed rapist so desperate to convince everybody that he is spending hour after hour after hour sitting in a restaurant in Jamaica with his laptop on the table? And how can anybody be so ignorant about how restaurants work?!

But I do love the way that he's so ignorant of the way that the modern world works that he thinks the only way to access the internet while away from home is find a restaurant which has wifi. Clearly he has no idea about cellphone roaming or mobile hotspots, let alone the eSIMs which those of us who actually do travel use when going to places where one's operator doesn't offer free roaming. That said, I suppose that Obamaphones most probably don't offer roaming, and we all know where he got his phone from. Hoot!
