And all of the comments from him I've posted in this thread are from the last couple of days alone.

Or pick up again with people actually discussing things, new posters talking about culture, history, food, life in Poland, P9ish current affairs and politics. Rather than bítches, executions, racist stuff annd his obsession with Muslims. And transgender women day in, day out, a subject that bores most people.

And as mentioned earlier. It would probably be good for his mental health to take a break from all that obsessive trolling.

More than bores. For FSM's sake, it's 2026, almost everybody now accepts that the vast majority of people are one of two genders and there is a fairly small number of people who aren't, and that's all OK but we simply do not want to f*cking hear about it from the nutters on either extreme, not the ones who say there are 27 genders or the ones who say that anybody who thinks all women are not born female should be shot.

Have you tried putting him on the ignore list? I don't like to see a politically correct forum where self-censorship prevails. It's like composing an email with the help of AI - at first look, it's great, but then you realize you only repeat the stories of the mainstream media and science without your individual input.

Of course, him using these abusive words is pointless, but if he stopped doing that, the rest would work for me.

About running a forum, particularly if there's a rogue poster who obsessively spews hatred and vile in order to trash every thread, if you don't manage the problem, it manages you.

The thing is, you either have censorship or you (eventually) have people posting hard-core child p*rn. It's one or the other, because not letting people post images of child s*x abuse is censoring them.
So, now we're established that you do support censorship, the question is which kinds do you support? I'd say that there's no place here for hatred, no place for racism, no place for homophobia, no place for misogyny. In short, no place for people who say things such as "Get AIDS and die c0cksucker".

I would agree with you 100% - but the problem is - who defined these words. It is not a simple math. Let's say, we agree that "hate speech" should be banned. Now, give me 10 people and each will define "hate speech" differently. Should we go with the UK or EU definition or the US definition - if so, why.

It works both ways - accepting child p(rn is on as the extreme side as banning people for being called "stupid."

Depends on how strict. In places online where the consensus is "keep it nice" then probably yes.

This isn't the problem though. The problem is a relentless flood of comments from one source that are intended to be as nasty as possible and to be as offensive as possible.

They are literally intended to trash threads and he would be delighted (he has said this) if they led to the forum closing.

You can't have free speech without parameters, and any community has its norms. Only a total psycho would constantly spew nasty comments like that.

I agree it is more extreme. But also consider this - people demand banning others mostly because they don't agree with their views.

With Novi it is easy - he uses abusive language. But there are also examples on this very forum where people haven't used abusive language, but others still want or wanted them banned. They would call these people "trolls." There will never be enough unless you are left alone blogging because then there would be nobody challenging your opinions.

If being "centrist" was so great, why there are so few ruling "centrist" political parties.

Yes for the first of those two, it's racist abuse, simple as that. But the second is not phrasing that should be encouraged here.


There are more than three times that number in one FB group. Perhaps they stay in that group because there calling somebody a "white cracker" would draw an immediate ban for seven days and calling somebody a "stupid leftist" would draw a polite request to moderate one's language, with bans following if the polite requests didn't work.


That's one of the good tests: would the poster say that in a bar they'd never been to before? If the answer is "Probably not", they probably shouldn't be saying it on a site (or on a group) where the aim is "exchange of ideas".

Why was JR banned - was he abusive?

I doubt it has a happy end when posters themselves decide about who is allowed to post here....I know no forum that works that way!

And what about the function to block some poster, so that one doesn't has to read his posts? Isn't that enough?

And isn't there a proggie to cut out any insults? Even Novi will lose any interests in them when his messages are cut down to unintelligible gibberish! :)

It's not a big deal; much worse is that he posts it randomly on all subjects and threads. He is currently spamming this place, which is his main offense.

Yes. This is the main problem. All threads, all day every day and no self control.

I don't hate him; I just don't like adults who act like children and act tough just because it is the internet. If PF were a club in real life, he would shut up long ago, or premiums on his health insurance would increase.

Pornography should be banned entirely, especially on the internet. On YouTube, you can't even say that word - ****, which is really strange.
