Did you know that it was a woman who first designed the windshield/windscreen for the auto's ?
AmaSSing !
Correction, I meant, "windshield wipers", not windshields themselves.

If you use that terminology you would get some strange looks over here.
Have you ever met any Brits in the USA? Ask them if they are from Australia and watch them get insulted, its too funny...

Part of a car.
Your picture shows a fly screen which we don't need in temperate countries unless you live near a maggot farm.

Second hand imports.
Half the Mercedes in Germany end up as thirty year old taxis in Africa.

Not really.
Most cars in America are front wheel drive with the motor sitting over the front wheels for weight.
They do quite well in moderate snow.
If you live in the country however where the roads don't get plowed daily then an all-wheel drive or 4x4 comes in very handy after or during a snow storm.
One thing that you have to remember with a 4x4 is when you get stuck........you are stuck and need to be winched out.

In winter, the question always arises whether to buy a 4×4?
I have a 4x4 and love ripping thru the deep snow. Its best right after the storm before the plows get to it:)

Theyre not bad at all. Remember the rear wheel drive cars from the 70/80s always getting stuck in the snow? That sucked! So many times I was in the ditch.

Yes, I love it too although I only have 2X2 !!!

2X2
You can have only 4×2 or 2×1(bike). 2×2 would mean you have a 2 wheels car, what isn't possible.

2×2 would mean you have
Nope. The term 2x2 is also used to denote vehicles that can power the sidecar as well as the back wheel. Ha!

Germany
What??? I didn `t say it. ????
3x2
No, it is still 2X2 coz due to my weight, the sidecar is sort of lifted and its wheel seldom touches the ground, especially during a fast ride.
2 apes.
Yes, that is the only true statement in your post. Ha!

@Alien
If you really want to have fun get a snowmobile. I had a couple of them when I was younger. There are tons of them up by Johnnys area as well.
The new ones really haul ass. My old sled did around 60mph compared to 150mph now a days. I assume, its on a lake.

Yeah, hit a pressure crack out on a lake at 100 mph and see how long it take for them to get your body parts to the hospital, if you live.
I hate those MF's racing down the middle of my road at 2 a.m. at 100 mph after the bars close.
Law Enforcement are always scraping them off trees beside the roads in the winter here in Northern Michigan.

No worries. Joker`s mobiles have all high tech gadgets, including the pressure crack detector which locates those cracks within 100 yards ahead.
It is obvious you must have ridden older versions of snowmobiles.
Germany
It wasn't me, it was Jon.

Jon made you put Germany into my mout... erh... typing fingers????? I would never suspect.

The same up in Wisconsin. There must be a bar every 10 miles on the trail, everyone stops for a quick one and heads onto the next. I saw a guy hit a tree once going around 35mph. He was extremely lucky he didn't kill himself.
Yeah, hit a pressure crack out on a lake at 100 mph
The new machines are way too fast compared to my 1995 Ski Doo.

I don't see any wind, Sensible and ugly are not mutually exclusive and can co-exist. See Toyota Avalon.
