Britain votes and the right man wins.

I've had a long break from PF, mainly because I was sick of reading nonsense from people who don't live in Poland but consider themselves experts because their grandmothers were born here.

Hardly anyone are experts on Poland here on the PF. Only a few foreign people on the PF try genuinely to be serious. As to the grandmothers there even used to be a big discussion if "busia" (grandma) is a Polish or a non-Polish word. Basically, the PF is an entertainment forum and treating it in a different way is a huge mistake.

... oxon is another creature entirely. He was spouting his bile before I had a sabbatical and he's still at it, despite the fact that he has nothing whatsoever to do with Poland. He is also completely unrepresentative of Britain, and to quote him as such shows deep ignorance.

Mr. Bean is also unrepresentative of Britain. Oxon is in a way as good (toutes proportions gardées) as Mr. Bean . You read him for having fun, but as with other clowns, you may discover pearls among things he says.

Ziemowit. That's a good attitude to have. Some of us, me included, should remember that advice before we get hot under the collar.

Ziemowit - Not sure what planet you're on or who you are confusing me with but the exchanges you quoted are a figment of your little mind. 'Bloody' is a word I never use .

It's an old tired strategy you use. You can treat what I say as Mr Bean- esque all you want and you can pretend to laugh and find me funny. They did the same with Hitler et al .

Jon 357 - Crapola? What a brilliant argument you conjure up. It must have taken many hours of reserch, pouring through books to counter what I said regarding the origins of the word 'racism' .

Roger 5 - Are you completely oblivious to your world around you. The people of Great Britain are sick to the back teeth of five people speaking five different languages on a bus, having to stand in queues with chattering Poles, Somalians Romanians and God knows what else who have come to London because of our loony left chaotic mindset.

Not since 1910 has a fringe party won an election and history was made last week. We are sick and tired of the sheer amount of foreigners keeping wages low and ensuring high rents . Last week the people spoke and it's only a matter of time before we are out of Europe and cut ties with the Eastern bloc ....3,000 of whom are on benefits (mainly Poles.)

Englishman - Far and away the first thing this country has to do is stop paying benefits to Poles and others who come here for that very reason. The benefits they receive here are like a month's salary in Poland to them. It is gut wrenching to see these people signing on each week whilst millions of our own pensioners are choosing between heating and eating.

Poles know exactly what they can claim for more than your average Brit.

First sort out your welfare state culture, chavs and the sociall underclass of teenage mothers.. yes white British ones...
Do you have any stats showing how many Poles in comparesment to your homegrown Brits take benefits?

Harry

The relevant data doesn't exist, largely because there are no accurate records showing how many Poles qualify for UK benefits (meaning we can't work out percentages). We know that as of Q3 2012 13,940 Poles were claiming unemployment benefit but we don't know how many qualified for it.

Hahahaha, here you may be right, mate. It is very likely that as a true Brit you have never in your life used this bloody word "bloody".

It's an old tired strategy you use. You can treat what I say as Mr Bean-esque all you want and you can pretend to laugh and find me funny. They did the same with Hitler et al.

I love Mr. Bean. Of all other British comedians I am particuraly fond of Patricia Routledge as Hyacinth Bucket. Hyacinth's father seems to be a bit like you.

Last week the people spoke. We are taking our country back!

When you say "we" are you referring to all British people (like Goofy)? Who gave you that right? Last week the Farage Party didn't win a single council. It was a protest vote. The tide hasn't turned. Next year we'll see perhaps one UKIP MP.

"you can pretend to laugh and find me funny. They did the same with Hitler"
Oh dear.

Seems that a fair amount of you responded before the actual final results were known.

Wrong, dude. We commented on the local election results. You were the only one referring to the then unannounced European elections.

the term 'racist'

If you don't like the term 'racist', then how about xenophobic, ignorant, homophobic, or fascist? Certainly all have been correctly used to describe that disgusting party of yours.

First sort out your welfare state culture, chavs and the sociall underclass of teenage mothers.. yes white British ones...

This is a valid point, Goofy.
Racist morons like to demonise immigrants.
If UKIP are so worried about the NHS and they want to 'relieve pressure', then they should be attacking smokers and 'fatties'. The strain on the NHS caused by millions of patients with smoking-related or obesity-related 'illness' are far greater than a handful of foreigners.

If UKIP want to release the pressure on our welfare system then they should look no further than the millions of British chavs living in poverty, not just on their doorstep in and around London, but nationwide. The biggest group of unemployment is among young, black males - but of course, it would be racist to tell them to stop sponging on benefits, wouldn't it?

Anyway, for all the idiots who voted UKIP, for whatever reason, whether it was a protest vote, or you don't like women or gays, or you don't believe in global warming, or you don't like the protection we, and our workforce, get from the European parliament, then here's a little video of what else you voted for. Enjoy!

Anyway, for all the idiots who voted UKIP,

Plenty of idiots, but not much "all". The faragistas aren't in fact that popular and certainly not about to be the next government. Just like the SDP which was here today and gone the day after, that clown should enjoy his 15 minutes of fame while it lasts.

This article demolishes the myth that they're on the crest of a wave with growing support:

How can Ukip win 27% of the vote and yet be regarded positively by only 22% of the electorate? Part of the answer is that only one elector in three turned out to vote in the recent election. Ukip won the support of just 9% of the electorate

The challenge facing Farage is to sustain his party's momentum as we approach the very different political context of a general election fought under first-past-the-post. If Britain's economy continues to grow and its fruits are shared more widely, his task will grow harder.

It almost seems like all you touchy - feely tree huggers have the political awareness of a delinquent ostrich with its head firmly embedded in the cement.

Of course Britain has teenage mothers, disgustingly obese people who over indulge in the deluge of foreign owned kebab and chicken nugget takeaways. And of course there is a fair amount of yobbish thugs binge drinking up and down the city centre's of the UK every weekend.

"The working class are scum.....until it comes to a war" goes the famous quote.

Traditionally, these are the people who, in the past fought in the front line in the trenches and got blown to bits as a result.

There's an argument that if you are continually unemployed, stuck in some sink estate in Sunderland or wasting away in the bleak expanse of rural Wales, a career in the armed forces seems mightily attractive. Seems like a good plan! Keep them unemployed and they will volunteer.

These people are British people and have no other country to go back to. Blacks, Muslims and Eastern European immigrants have a proportionately higher rate of unemployment but since these are the children of immigrants brought up singing rebel songs against this country in their council homes , this is exactly the reason why everyone should be deported who arrived here since 1997.

Jon - Get this and understand it for your intelligence is that of a gnat. We in Britain have a voting system called 'First Past the Post'. Go figure!

All those Poles who whine incessantly 'yes , ahh, we come here for to work' will stay, have children who will grow up calling Poland their home just like the N-words and the P-words nowadays.

First Past the Post

I wonder if you know what that means or understand that it will keep the faragistas out of office permanently.

oxon. Do you use other sites to let off steam and rant about Johnny Foreigner or is it just this one?

He "lets of steam" by writing threatening letters to immigrants which has brought him already to the attention of the police. There are a few posts about it here. Then again, it must get boring waiting for the giro to arrive.

So much for the morals and IQ of a UKIP voter.

Nice video of Farage getting completely owned in an interview. Watch the scumbag lie (and show his ignorance) throughout. :D

I wonder how he'd feel if BNP/UKIP voters told his wife and daughters to f*ck off back to their own country, stop taking our jobs, and stop speaking in a foreign language...

Hi Roger,

I use a plethora of other sites. I bleat like a demented foghorn droning away incessantly. I have my convictions . They are dear to my heart. The UK is turning into a 3rd world s***hole and I must honour my parents in bringing people up to respect their culture.

Do you have many convictions? Or do the police generally just caution you?

Roger5

I bleat like a demented foghorn droning away incessantly.

Yes, I know, and I appreciate your candour in admitting it.

The UK is turning into a 3rd world s***hole

The last time I visited the old country it looked like a rich, generally happy place, with a significant minority of p1ssed off people who wanted it to look like an amalgam of Last of the Summer Wine, The Darling Buds of May, and The Vicar of Dibley.

"I must honour my parents in bringing people up to respect their culture"
What you do with your own kids is your prerogative. OK, I know you didn't mean that. In which case, who are you to demand what Britain looks like now or in the future? When I was growing up in 60s and 70s Britain there was widespread racism, appalling poverty, inequality between the sexes in every aspect of life, police who were a law unto themselves, and a class system that now seems medieval.

Most Britons appreciate that life is better now. Some, like you, unfortunately, see the end of the world looming.
Having said that, I dont believe you are as awful as you sometimes appear to be. You give a damn, which means a lot in a world where so many take so much for granted. Please take the rough with the smooth, and see that the UK isn't anywhere near as bad as your frustrations tempt you to paint it.

Thank you for this concise, but nevertheless a very interesting account for how the UK looked like in the past and how the country has evolved over the recent forty years or so. This account seems to be in sharp contrast to those one-sided and monotonous views of Oxon, a Britain's best. I think "frustration" may be a key word explaining his views and most likely it is personal rather than based on neutral observations of the outside world. Low self-esteem, probably unconsciouos and taking deep roots in his childhood, pushes him into frequent repetitions that some people, nations or cultures must be better than others.

Bluesfan...

This video was jumped on by the mainstream media who are of course in bed with the politicians and the corporate CEO's. LBC radio is a right wing radio station and nowhere will you find this video on their site. Do try? It was removed and not even in their 'best bits' section. Strange eh?

By the way....your name suggests you are a fan of the Blues. I play in a jazz and blues band. The bass player from Barbados who is in his 60's is Desmond Decker and the Aces 's bass player. The lead singers are from Grenada and Jamaica . We do a lot of original blues.

Roger5 -

You see! You understand completely the history of the country and in a given moment I could walk into a bar/ coffee shop / bus queue / shop etc. and perhaps strike up a conversation with you because you understand all those things, speak the same language and adopt the same cultural beliefs. There would be a rapport. I've had a dozen Polish builders doing heavy maintenance work on the £1.5 million house bang next door to me for the last three months and I can't even approach them to ask when they will be finished because a) they don't understand me and b) they could report me via a text to the police for racism. Although the concept of one community is bandied about, it an absolute myth. I don't have a girlfriend minus a clitoris. I don't drink Tyskie beer in the street nor do I do drugs with Nigerian pimps or indulge in ATM scams or pickpocketing with Romanians. I have written to the Poundland store which recently opened in my area stating that they have lowered the whole tone of the neighborhood. I don't want to be in the same queue as these previously mentioned people even though I buy some goods there.

When you enter the country it used to be one passport control for citizens and another for non citizens. I asked Poundland to adopt the same strategy.

Ziemowit- You are way off mark. I've lived in five different countries in Africa and Asia and I am convinced that no other nation would tolerate this multicultural crap. Look at what Vietnam did last month. The Chinese Navy had to send ships to Vietnam to rescue their citizens because the Vietnamese decided enough was enough . They burned their businesses down . Please don't at what the Indonesians did to the Chinese in the 90's. I was working in Indonesia two years ago and the Chinese now are so dam respectful and humble. Unlike Nigerians. Poles, Pakistanis here who know exactly what they can do and say and take full advantage.

The treacherous politicians have sold the soul of this country. People like me have to suffer or be jailed. That simple.

You could always try doing this, however I'd very strongly advise against it.
