Differences Between Russian Friends and Normal Ones

Slavictor
22 Apr 2018  #1

I found this 15 point comparison amusing.

matadornetwork.com/abroad/15-differences-normal-friend-russian-friend/

I personally don't harbor any animosity or old grudges towards Russians or Ukrainians. Certainly be aware of the past, but in the modern era treat each interaction on a case by case basis. You get to know people over time. I hold responsible the powers behind the scenes which drives mass conflicts between men, not the common man himself.

Notice the Russian propaganda that runs through his posts - "Russian friends", "Russia won't invade Europe", "evil EU", etc etc.

Sorry, but take your crude Russian propaganda elsewhere.

Quite clearly you have very little interest in Poland at all as evidenced by the majority of your threads. What's with the bizarre title anyway? Are you trying to say that Russians aren't normal people?

He's trying to suggest that they're superior. Classic Russian troll really, even down to the strange use of language that runs through his posts. He's trying to pass off as a native speaker, but anyone familiar with linguistics can see otherwise.

Pay particular attention to point #13 on that list:

"A normal friend will suggest that you visit a psychiatrist when you're depressed... A Russian friend will tell you shrinks and antidepressants are useless, and that the most effective recipe for happiness is vitamins and exercise."

very little interest in Poland at all... Are you trying to say that Russians aren't normal people?

1. Untrue. In fact, that is why I returned.

2. What I'm saying is have a look at the humorous article written by someone else. I didn't choose the title or write it.

Why would we want to look at an article portraying Russians in a positive light on PolishForums.com?

Slavictor
25 Apr 2018  #9

Why would we

Not everyone maintains the same prejudices you may hold. When you say "we", the plural is not applicable.

You sound as if you're giving a lecture in the Kremlin Trolling Academy :))

Where on earth do they dig you lot up from? I suspect that a bunch of you were cryogenically frozen in 1980 something when they saw that the end was coming and a few years ago your 'comrades' found the technology to reanimate you.

that is why I returned

From the dead, having been cryogenically frozen...............see it all makes sense!

Off you go now and groom your eyebrows - Brezhnev style :))

The one who thinks Russia will invade Europe is the one believing in propaganda.

There is nothing to apologize for, only sorrow for you and other lefty lunatics wasting their lives living in hysteria about evil Russia.

I don't see any difference between the Russian trolls and you.
Every time I visit this forum, its you causing the problems around here.

Don't worry Wulky, the fact that you sit safely in the UK while proclaiming Russia to be "no threat" hasn't escaped us.

Who is US ?
And if your fantasy of Russia attacking the E.U. ever did occur, don't worry as Putin would nuke London before he nuked Warsaw so in essence you are the one factually siting safely which hasn't escaped us.

Putin would nuke London before he nuked Warsaw

true he would target hostile nuclear powers before picking on secondary targets, his problem with nuking Warsaw as a first strike (depending on time of year) would mean an inevitable high concentration of fallout blowing back home.

I can not believe the fear some people live with.
They must not have their souls right with the Lord to live in such fear of dying.
Don't worry delph, you won't even hear the BOOM if it does happen.

I doubt it's fear. Its simply putins achievement which is hate and mistrust of all things russian back to cold war levels. His other achievements include ruining economy, murder of political opponents, theft of russias wealth by him and friends and total international irrelevance. Russians wanted a strong leader but it doesnt get any weaker than him and now they are totally irrelevant. Nice of you Johnny to offer solace in your imaginary friend in the sky...and i am a real wizard.

Hmm.

The way the article is interpreted is what matters. The article states: "Russia's deputy chief of staff warned Poland "is exposing itself to a strike 100 per cent" and that statement is not an error.

The US Empire wants no nation to be able to stand up to it. "Do as we want, or else" is their motto. Poland is setting itself up as a target by allowing itself to be party to aggressively ring Russia with ABM missile systems.

I've said this before in other threads that Washington thinks it can win a tactical nuclear strike on Russia. Pre-emptively and unprovoked. And why? Simply because Russia will not bend it's knee and give up it's sovereignty to Washington's exploitations. Russia wants to deal, not kneel. Like any other sovereign country.

If Canada were not a complete vassal of the Anglo-American Empire, let's role reverse and suppose Russians installing ABM systems located in Newfoundland. How would Washington respond to that. How about a few dozen Russian MIRVs installed in Tijuana "to help stop Iran in the middle east" of course. Notice this Russian guy in the article said "By hosting these (ABM systems) Poland makes itself a target". Russia didn't say, out of the blue as the misleading mainstream media implies, "we want to, and are going to, attack Poland".

This thread is not about you Delph.

The point is you can make friends if the will is there.
