It could end today, with Russia deciding to leave Ukraine....that wouldn't be the case if it were a russian-german conflict.

I can understand the need for propaganda on both sides. What I don't understand though is when propaganda gets so retarded that only a tiny part of a given society (namely: retards) could possibly believe it.

If those men were "volunteers" and Russians decided to execute them as common criminals and not covered by the GC, would the German government intervene in the same manner it would if these volunteers were German soldiers and subject to the GC?

Well, there's a bit of a problem. The retarded propaganda video says "German troops" not "troops whose grandfather once owned a German shepherd". :)

It also says that the driver-mechanic was yelling "nicht schiessen", that he stated he was "not a mercenary but a Bundeswehr serviceman", and that the rest of the crew were "members of the same unit of the German army".

So, taking all that into account, I think we can say without much doubt that anyone who believes it's true falls comfortably below the retardation cut-off point. Comfortably.
