Still, the Donbas referendum was as legal
Would the outcome in Cimea be
opposite if for every voter there were 100 Western observers?
I said "opposite", not different, so don't play stupid games with me.
Quoting:
Major international bodies, such as the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and the United Nations (UN), declined to send official observers because the referendum was considered illegal under Ukrainian and international law. The OSCE requires an invitation from the host country's central government (Ukraine, in this case), which was not issued.Asking Kiev for permission to conduct a separation referendum makes as much sense as the Red Army asking Hitler for permission to enter Auschwitz...
Did the "international bodies" ask Belgrade to conduct a referendum in Kosovo?
Under the Novi law, the only thing that makes a referendum not valid is threatening voters to vote a certain way. Period. End of discussion.
The real reason why the Westerm slime didn't show up is to be able to claim the referendum was not valid later.
