By the way, Spanish people still remember that Poles was the reason of death of many of Spaniards, who deserted early, that was captured by Poles and returned to French army, and later executed.

Britain is similarily far away, but problem is the same as with Poland (and Poland often look like British poodle rather than souvereign country, to be fair). While I know lots of good ordinary people from Poland, Polish politicians looks like they start to take hard drugs once win first elections.
