We are talking about the riots here, or peaceful protests as some people call them. I think he will send in the Home guard or some other force to deal with these thugs, once the good people of Portland realise their mayor has let them down badly and they want change. Unfortunately American politics are complicated in that, a small time mayor in a city can over rule the most powerful man in the country (if not the world) the President of the USA.

Why not now?

Because the mayor has to ask the President for help, which he refuses to do so.

So basically Trump is secondary in all of it and by no means guarantees any solution.

That's why I said it was complicated, but if there's a way he's the best man for the job. Look at the work he has done to help bring peace to other parts of the world.

I am no trump fan by no means but the other option is horrifying to say the least, and trump has not started any wars and has tried to make peace with traditional US enemies , oh and get us troops out of foreign conflicts , the last lot of presidents have done the opposite.

And I am so upset about obama doing nothing positive for race relations in America, just played loads of golf.

That is most likely correct with stipulations.
He requested protest police help from Washington agencies under Oregon-specific agreement and one of those was not to use force.
So he didn't want help, he just wanted free money and more targets for the mob to throw bricks at which is known as "Liberal Logic."

Look at some protests which made history and changed countries - they were a bit rough, indeed. But revolution needs resolute actions. Simple.

The polling is interesting - see a few polls this week even have Biden ahead in Texas - I don't think he will win it in 2020 but every election the Republican majority there is getting smaller. As Dallas, Austin and Houston grow that will continue.

Once that happens then the electoral college is over for the Republicans and it might see both parties split into radical and normal wings.

But he isn`t doing it now coz he fears losing the elections if he orders to shoot at people. Fekking hypo. hahaha

Do not try to say that few thousand dollars spent by unidentified persons for alleged political advertising would be able to overturn billion-dollar capmaigns results. In such difference in efficiency current US establishment should be scrapped for good. ;)

The outcome was zero coz the lawsuit about the Russian collusion by Trump was filed in March 2020 and has not been decided yet. But WP repeated their accusations in August 2020 as you can see in the article I linked to so they must be certain of their sources/informers and are not afraid of litigation.
