@Tlum Meanwhile you have missed the fact that Mexico has closed its nothern border and is holding illegals in Mexico now, and they have also slowed migration at their southern border. All the while South American governments are now saying they will take those illegals back if it means getting to do business with the US. Thats called having a big stick and knowing when to use it.
The wall would pay itself for the cost of keeping illegals out. Now they have to spend a lot of tax payer money to police it. The more important questions is - what happens when Dems are back in power? There will be no wall, there will be nobody protecting the border. How shortsighted is that.

The solution? Build the wall! I thought it's been established years ago and I agree that would be the best long-term solution. Why do they stop talking about the wall now?
In the video, from just a few months ago, Trumps claimed that he has already built most of the wall. The US-Mexico border has 1954 miles. So he says in public he built at least 977 miles of the wall (may be less, let's say 800 miles if we consider natural border structures). Obviously, it's a lie, unless he orders Google to change the length of the border. Or it's not a lie and he doesn't actually intend to build the wall.
MAGA, let's be reasonable. Trump has been promising us the wall dozens of times in the last 9 years. Now he can have the wall with the funds coming from DOGE savings, but he won't build it. We cannot excuse him for this empty promise, sorry. We must hold him accountable or else we're naive fools. "Trust but verify" as the Russian proverb says.

Again, what is a better solution for illegal immigration than the wall? When I'm treated fairly as a voter, I'm loyal, but when a promise is broken I feel I have the right to point that out and demand change.
