any idiot can parrot the voices from the left

Don't EVER call me a leftist...... I am probably more right wing than you.....but I have a brain.

And where is YOUR proof?

Talk about empty statements.....

Really?

Please show me proof.

Milo, don't be a parasite. Do your work and research, and don't expect me to provide a sparkling answer and cover for your ignorance at the same time.
Milo, what you are arguing is a dream within a dream that is beyond your mental capability. Give up, and don't make a fool of yourself.

Talk about empty statements..

You insist the first Trump administration was just my dream, so he never successfully imposed tariffs on China. Is that your final statement? That's good. I am tired of talking to an empty suit.

Do you really think tariffs will do that?

Let me try again...

How to bring American jobs back home?

A genius and a moron...Or how to win with a leftist by asking questions...my favorite method...

These morons can't survive the very first question...what a disappointment...

This is why no conversation with them is possible here. Shallow like a dog pis* on the sidewalk. See Lyzko.

Also...see the post above...

Trump tariffs bring in 19 Billion in first month. That is record setting. Imagine that over the next 4 years, coupled with spending cuts and the elimination of the congressional fraud the US would be in a great place.

Trump has also secured 500 billion in new investments from companies to build factories and create jobs in the US. But no one talks about these good things because they dont fit the left wing media agenda.

No idea what the correct numbers are - on the POTUS instagram account today I saw 5 trillion, that is about 2.000 dollars promosed from every adult on the planet in just 3 months LOL.

As far left reporting as you can get finance.yahoo.com/news/trumps-april-tariff-revenue-topped-17-billion-that-dwarfs-any-haul-from-his-first-term-160856118.html

Hate on Trump all you want. Four years of this kind of revenu would solve a lot of US problems.

cms neuf
4 May 2025  #399

So is it 17 or 19 ?

There won't be 4 years of it - obviously there won't be even 4 months because he has folded on his fake ass tariffs

jon357

Trump tariffs bring in

And tanked their economy.

How are trumpet's approval ratings?

Roll on the congressional election.

We know PAK isn't the brightest lightbulb in the żyrandol however that comment wins this week's prize for inanity.

@cms neuf
I read 19 yesterday. If its 17 whats the problem? Your obsession with Trump hating is really kind of childish. Folded on tariffs? I dont think so, 17 billion is not folding. Even if it only raised monthly totals by a billion its still a billion more than before. Folding is not having the EU negotiating tariffs right now.

So why are US tariffs bad but EU tariffs are not? Why doesnt every country just make tariffs equal across the board? Why does Canada's 200% to 400% or more tariffs on US food products not get bashed for being a protectionist tariff? All the double standards are hilarious. Is the EU waiving tariffs for Poland and all the tanks bought from South Korea? Or are EU tariffs only for items it feels like using them for subjectively?

cms neuf
4 May 2025  #402

Why doesn't every country have tariffs across the board ?

Because it makes no economic sense, consumers would pay more for worse products. Any economist or normal person understands that.

Why would everyone else adopt crazy rules just because Golden Cow has a brain fart ?

PolAmKrakow
4 May 2025  #403

@cms neuf
Once again you do not understand English or the intent behind the question. If the EU charges 10% to the US then the US should do the same to the EU. If tariffs are not equal then there is no real trade there is only protectionist measures. Thats what every economist will tell you. And its why the EU and everyone else is negotiating with the US. The days of unfair tariffs are ending. It will take a little pain to get through, but this is exactly the right course to take.

cms neuf
4 May 2025  #404

But they don't charge that - as has been said many times EU tariffs were overall about 2 percent, though more in some categories.

Or are you going to start talking about jeeps , VAT and unhealthy US chicken again ?

PolAmKrakow
4 May 2025  #405

@cms neuf
europarl.europa.eu/topics/en/article/20250210STO26801/eu-us-trade-how-tariffs-could-impact-europe

The "overall" talking point does not work. Lets compare specific tariffs on specific items. EU tariffs on US cars 10%, US tariffs on EU cars before the tariff war began.

This is a common sense proposal ceev.eu/projects/eu-us-wine-statement/

All auto tariffs should be equal as well. If any country doesnt want to have tariffs that are equal to each other then they lose the US market. And no one can afford to lose the US market. As for VAT, it is simply a business killer in the EU, and ZUS in Poland has killed many business before they even get started. Combine the two and then toss in the government making wage increases mandatory for political and arbitrary reasons and you will see new business development stop, or leave.

A trade inbalance cannot be sustained by the US. The generosity with taxpayer money to everyone but Americans is ending and should have ended a long time ago. This is common sense. I know its hard to take the lolipop from the child after he had had it for so long, but its time for that to happen and just let the child cry it out for a while.

Hey, Euroholes, cut the crap...

What would you do to bring American jobs back home if your were the president?

cms neuf
4 May 2025  #408

Probably whatever Joe Biden was doing - a record 14m jobs were added when he was in charge.

econofact.org/factbrief/were-more-jobs-added-under-biden-than-in-the-first-three-years-of-any-president

Joe Biden was doing - a record 14m jobs were added when he was in charge.

Joe didn't do squat. Those jobs were coming back after idiotic Covid lockdowns were ended.

If you disagree with the above, explain what did Joe do to add 14 million jobs.

Back to my question:

What would you do to bring American manufacturing jobs back home if your were the president?

Alien
4 May 2025  #410

And no one can afford to lose the US market
A great many European manufacturers do not exist on the American market anyway. Dacia, Renault, Skoda, Seat, Opel, Citroen, Peugeot, Fiat....as I list them, I come to the conclusion that for most European manufacturers the US market is irrelevant.

Probably whatever Joe Biden was doing - a record 14m jobs were added when he was in charge.

Genius,14 million jobs were added? The ones he lost during COVID? If the market was at the 10000 level and dropped 1000 points to 9000, and you lost 1000 dollars,
but next week, the market recovered to 10000, so you did not create any wealth; you just recovered what you lost the previous week. That's the secret of Biden's creation of 14 million jobs. And the few jobs added were due to government expansion.

And more. They make their money elsewhere, in a less fickle market.

The first 100 days of that regime were a disaster and sadly for the people there, it only gets worse from here until the mid term elections.
