Same across Europe. They bought Asda (a big supermarket chain set up a century ago by 50 farmers as a dairy cooperative) which had staff there who were fourth generation and although not huge payers were a paternalistic employer and also heavily unionised. Walmart tried to impose the US model of working on them and failed utterly. The staff said no and Walmart couldn't get their heads around the fact that they couldn't just do what they want.

Bingo. Fvck them and others like them. Small business made America great, and thats what the country needs to return to.

Good read. I use AI for some basic things, but did a little experiment today out of curiosity, and used Chatgpt to write some code for a program we are having designed by professionals and it was almost exactly what we are paying to have done. Took all of about 20 seconds. Was pretty fvcking impressed.

Never said human intelligence. Eventually though, it will have to be recognized as something other than artificial. When this really takes off, some of the implications are quite terrifying. Imagine a hacker that has light speed and never sleeps.

Another ignorant statement. This "court" has no jurisdiction over the Presidential orders of any President. All the left wing news headlines are nothing more than the equal to the Russia Collusion bvllshit headlines. This courts decision will be tossed. And there is no getting rid of Trump early unless you want to see real violence in the US streets. Canada laughing? Interesting take on Alberta creating a bill to depart Canada and likely voting on it. The richest province in Canada leaving, and doing its own trade deal with the US would make Ontario nothing more than wasted real estate.
