A few things happened. Manufacturing was outsourced for cheaper labor and more corporate profit in the 70's and 80's. Women were told that working and having a career were more important then having a family, or that they could have both. Children were put into centers where other people raised them. The family unit, according to leftists was not as important as it once was and that children could be raised properly in single parent homes.

When you devalue the family unit you devalue humanity. It is the long road to extinction.

Greed and usury happened. For quite a while now we have been observing a huge shift of the capital upwards to the rich from the poor and the middle classes. Richer get even more obscenely rich whilst ordinary folks find it harder and harder to make ends meet.

Funnily enough, those greedy usurers and their lapdogs managed to convince ordinary people to vote for them, because they dress up as "conservative Christians" (Epstein-Island Christians lol). The biggest scam of our time.

Perhaps one day people will understand that corporate capitalism in its current form is simply a triumph of usury (interest-bearing finance) over productive human labor, and it is productive human labor that is the source of real value. I wouldn't hold my breath though.

Sometimes I see Europe like the huge Titanic deep in the ice! Still big, still most modern, still strong and famous....but so deeply frozen in on all sides by lotsa unnecessary laws and decrees and directives and duties and taxes.....oh the taxes....that big, glorious ship with everybody on board has become unable to move...not forward not back, just stagnancy!
