My English definitely isn't perfect. I make basic mistakes, especially when I'm tired or in a hurry, I have a problem with Tenses and I have to check spelling often.

And I'm Polish, not "Polish".


I personally have never lived in an English-speaking country. I simply always wanted to learn English, since I was a kid, and so I was making extra effort to do it. I attended private courses, for example. As far as I know Lenka lives in the UK, Ironside lived in the US (probably for years), pawian spent some time in the US, Torq spent some time in Ireland (?). I think Poloniusz also lived (or lives?) in the US.

I don't think there's a person in any developed nation who doesn't have some family living in another country.

In a survey done ten years ago, 69% of Poles had a family member living abroad and the number could well be higher now. Anyway, by your definition around 70% of Poles are not Polish.
