not to get involved in that conversation.

It's an open discussion forum.

People from throughout the solar system and beyond, of all viewpoints, all ages, all outlooks.

It's called free speech. The same principle that allows you to post the most deplorable garbage from dawn to dusk.

Here's some free speech. It's the middle of the night where you are. Fvck off to bed.

My mid morning coffee break's over. Back to work.

No. I just told him politely not to get involved in that conversation.
This didn't work well

Well it sure as bloody hell doesn't work on you either.
Now take jon's advice and Fvck off to bed.
I have an excuse to be up at this hour as I am working.
Working on my new jug of Green River that is. Hoot !

Smooth stuff as it takes the chill out of your bones and helps old people sleep.
I would rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

jug of Green River

What's that?

Sounds interesting. Do you distill?

johnny reb
27 Jan 2025  #635

Green River is a Kentucky straight bourbon just as the label says.
It is very smooth for being 90 proof.
It is a sipping whiskey bourbon.
Sells for $35 a bottle where most bourbons of that quality cost twice as much.
Do you distill?

No, not presently, however I should by the amount my cat steals from me. 😹

How about H2O...

Water rusts your pipes and has plastic particles in it that cause cancer.
I bet you don't smoke weed occasionally either.
Its no wonder you are so damn grouchy.

Dadburn revenooers!!!!!!

Nope, they have nothing to do with it and could care less where I live.
Michigan happens to be one of the few States that allow you to distill whiskey without a license.
You can buy a still for a couple hundred bucks to get started.
That is for personal use only while if you sold it without a license and got caught, they could fine me $10,000 and put me in prison for 5 years which would be a life sentence for me and Novi.

The law here in the U.S. is that you are allowed to make a 100 gallons per year legally without a license in my State.
That's about 2 gallons a week and if you sipped that much you wouldn't be able to get your socks on in the morning.
Most States it is illegal to distill.

Next it is very cold outside with temperatures at -20C this time of year.
To do it in your house would stink it up to high heaven as you use corn mash for the base.
Distilling whiskey in your house or growing marijuana in your house (which is legal in Michigan also) definitely will stink it up bad.
Best to live out in the country like I do and have a big pole barn for such hobbies.
Does Europe allow you these freedoms ?

No, I don't.

I don't smoke, snort, vape, meditate, or chant...

I can't improve what's already perfect and I like my reality.

Depends where. The laws in the U.K. about distillation are similar to yours. For your own use and to sell to friends, it's not policed however anyone doing it commercially without a licence is likely to get a hefty tax bill and be closed down for safety reasons.

Marijuana? It depends where. Some places (like Czech) allow pretty well any drug, including cocaine. Most places are more careful.

@Novichok Yeah, it's a great spirit because he/she the one who is promoting humanity over anything else. Am I right? You can explore more such topics in this section https://polishforums.com/off-topic/ of this amazing forum.

Fish fúck in it.

Not only that but acid rain and acid snow melt contains toxins that end up in the eco system.
You kill all that and boil it out when you purify water by distilling it.
...and will place you on a waiting list for a liver...

And an excessive amount of the wrong foods will put you on a waiting list for a new heart.

For your own use and to sell to friends,

We can not sell it at all.
Makes for a nice gift however.
Did you google what the difference is between whiskey and bourbon ?
Whiskey has to meet several specifications to become bourbon.
That's why bourbon costs more.
It has to be made from 51% or more corn mash, be aged for at least two years and be over a certain proof.
There are more specs but those are the basics.
A good bottle of bourbon will cost you a $100 or more which is way out of my price range.

Mine too. I generally buy whatever's on special offer in duty free. You can take 4 litres into Schengen so it does for a while.

I do like a nice malt whisky, however the good ones can be crazy expensive.

Some of the pale ones from south west Scotland (it looks like píss but is very subtle) are good value for fancy ones. Most of the buyers want darker coulored since that's how they expect it to look.

Also, I have plenty of arguments :)

Really? Why do you choose to be sexist rather than use one of a plethora of your arguments in your quiver?
----
on't have to pretend that I'm smart - I am smart :]

LOL!!!
OK, I will bite.
Can you cook well, can you iron well, can you keep your place squicky clean, do you respect your man (the last one is theoretical in your case - I mean if you would have a man..)

Paulina

Really?

Yes :)

Why do you choose to be sexist rather than use one of a plethora of your arguments in your quiver?

Stop making stuff up. Calling jon357's behaviour "childish" isn't "sexist" in any way lol 🤦 And I've used arguments in my discussion with jon357, so what are you talking about? (that's a rhetorical question, btw lol)

LOL!!!
OK, I will bite.
Can you cook well

Stop spamming. This thread and discussion isn't about cooking, ironing, etc.

Not right now. It's nice just to sit back and watch meltdowns. It's a shame they took Jeremy Kyle off.

It's a shame they took Jeremy Kyle off.

I saw some of that once while on vacation in Spain.... he and the guests made the Jerry Springer Show seem like the epitome of class and good taste and refined behavior....

The British underclass goes hard....

jon357

The British underclass goes hard....

They chose them specially.

Like the Jerry Springer show, the draw for the participants was a night in a cheap hotel and some booze.

There isn't so much the Springer Triangle (Georgia, Ohio and I forget the third point) however they were the underclass from cities or post industrial conurbations.

The researchers used to ring the contestants up in the middle of the night to rile them up.

They pulled the show after a suicide.

the Springer Triangle (Georgia, Ohio and I forget the third point)

the Springer Triangle (Georgia, Ohio and I forget the third point) a lot of the accents I heard on Springer were compatible with rural Florida... lowlife crazy people from Florida... I know that's hard to accept, but.... yeah, Floridaman is not a meme for no reason.

jon357
29 Jan 2025  #660

I used to like it wha the audience chanted "inbred, inbred". A lot of talk about trailers.

Google says the third point of the triangle was Tennessee.
