I never bragged about my IQ.

I don't even believe in IQ - because I think it is geared towards people with a certain exposure to certain patterns of thinking.

I only ever did one IQ test in my life. My school had some "specialist" brought in, and it was totally voluntary and most importantly free. I took it just for fun - no preparation, and without ever seeing an IQ test in my life. Afterwards everyone was very "impressed". I don't remember the exact number, but I remember it was more than two standard deviations from the national average. If one standard deviation is 15, then that means I probably had 130.

This means Ptak and his wife were smarter than me.
