If we don't want to see this crazy planet become any more unglued
than it already is, we've got to depend on each other more than ever before!
No, I don't agree with Ella Wheeler Wilcox, thank you very much. Her poem
reflected a typical pre-New Deal philosophy which is why America was such
lonely, violent place for the masses until FDR in essence saved our country and
the world:
"Laugh and the world laughs with you
Weep and you weep alone.
This dear old earth must borrow her mirth,
She's troubles enough of her own."
Trump and his (bad) dream team wants to return to those terrible days
of the Wild West, when there were no rules or regulations, when the average
person shot first and asked questions later, usually when it was too late.
No sane human being wishes a return to those times.
