Join the EU and have access to one of the world's largest markets plus have billions given to you..

Thank the EU not Poland

The EU were just trying to lock Poland in.It is a nasty, useless group run by non-entities.Why would an economy that is booming want to remain tied to a sclerotic organisation like The EU?

But when The EU starts to make financial demands on Poland to fund their daft projects, Poland will think again and maybe leave....

It is a nasty, useless group run by non-entities

You may think that but without the EU Poland would be fcuked part 1.

No access to the single market no external investment no global Poland.

When did Poland start booming ?

You are in Britain right ? Has it been booming since leaving the EU ?

To be completely happy, Poland still needs to introduce the Euro and elect a pro-European president.

Poland still needs to introduce the Euro

No. Nein. Nie. Nem. Ne. Neen. Não.

The Euro is not a real currency and only brings misery to countries that aren't Germany (which is most of them).

To be completely happy, Poland still needs to introduce the Euro

Can you explain why you think this?

Alien
13 Apr 2026  #637

Can you explain

PLN makes trade with the Eurozone countries more difficult, increasing its costs, especially with the daily changing exchange rate. This is an economic loss, as are kilometer-long queues at the borders due to unnecessary border controls. PLN, as a regional currency, is sensitive to exchange rate fluctuations caused by global events, e.g. Corona or the war between Russia and Ukraine.

@Alien

Counter arguments:

1) You can't print Euros, only the ECB can.

2) You will lose the ability to weaken your currency, thus losing a good deal of Poland's attractiveness to companies from Germany, France, and elsewhere for relocating manufacturing. Your only remaining option to stay competitive would be to ACTUALLY reduce wages and higher unemployment.

3) You will have to abide by limits on deficit spending and debt levels.

4) The lower interests rates, can easily overheat the economy as asset prices will balloon. Same happened in Greece and in Spain.

Traitors like you should be shot. What a vermin.

Britain is not example of anything, they might have exit the EU but they haven't change their policies.

That's actually good.

1) You can't print Euros, only the ECB can.

I'm more than fairly sure that there are a few enterprising gentlemen in Poland who prove you wrong about that.

True.

You may think that but without the EU Poland would be fcuked part 1.

That is utter bollox, the Polish economy is MUCH stronger than The EU's.

Traitors like you should be shot.

True.

Britain is not example of anything, they might have exit the EU but they haven't change..

Also true, but only because the electorate made the huge mistake of electing a Socialist government.... that will change soon and then Britain will prove that there is life after The EU and successful countries like Poland may well follow suit.

@Ironside, Miloslaw, amiga500, do you remember who was killing people for having different political views than them? The Nazis and bolsheviks. You have really f*cked up mentality.

Polish economy is where it is thanks to EU membership. If Poland left the EU it would be worse off. Majority of Poles are smart enough to realise this and that's why we are against Polexit.

having different political views than them?

What political views? I'm talking about treason, that is not matter of opinion. You have been brainwashed by Soviets and later nihilist post-commies.
Giving up Poland independence is by all objective measures a treason.

The Nazis and bolsheviks.

everybody and their grandma on this planet. If you are misinformed don't embarrass yourself with your ready to use template. Who carers what Nazis or Soviets?
Hitler was breathing, will you stop breathing not to emulate him. Damn gril you are a lot like Hitler if you can't stop.

where it is thanks to EU membership.

Polish economy isn't that great and could be better if not for the EU regulations.
It state is well enough thanks to industrious Polish people, our country has a great potential and is not poor. Never was, citizen were poor due to many reasons I can't bother to list. .

Majority of Poles

Are dumb like a box of rocks when it comes to politicks.

I can't speak for the other posters, but who did I accuse of killing people with different political views?
Except for Nazis and Socialists?

Polish economy is where it is thanks to EU membership.

Yeah, until it's payback time......

This is interesting.... I didn't realise that Polish was the most widely spoken non native language in The UK.

As for British attitudes to Poles, when I was growing up and people asked me where my parents came from and I said Poland, their faces lit up and they warmed to me immediately.

their faces lit up and they warmed to me immediately.

I experienced this too, a whole busload of people came to us when they heard we were from Poland and told us to talk about Poland... this was long before Brexit.
