What happened to Novichok and jailbird Jim

Onlyfans, but you have to pay...

jon357

the seller would say "two hundred" but not mean "two hundred new zloty", i.e. PLN 200,..Even as late as 1998 some sellers would still say that.

Even much later. As late as about 2005 I remember buying veg from a street stall and the lady quoting a price of many thousands.

Poland is getting things right....Poland is safe.... the rest of the world needs to pay attention.

Everyone did that. I did too. Most of the time it was obvious from context whether 200 meant 200 new or 200,000 old (20 new) and in the few cases where complications might arise you just asked if they meant old or new.
I'm just very glad I didn't arrive in the middle of the process.... that would be crazy to learn on the fly.

Russia's invasion of Ukraine has proven, beyond doubt, that The Russian military is nowhere near as powerful as they like to pretend it is.

America's invasion of Iran has,so far, done the same for America.America needs to get a decisive win in Iran or the rest of the world will see them as weak as well.

Is America really as weak as Russia?

Pardon the interruption, I don't mean to interfere with whatever in the hell you guys are going on about, but...

I met up with PF's own Torq earlier this week. I fine Polish gentleman. Articulate, generous, well-mannered and freaking smart. Very good company.

Good example of the guy: most people who would gift you vodka would throw you a bottle of Lukususowa and tell to have at it. Not Torqi, he goes full sophisticated, witty, and high Polish culture on you:

What'd you guys do?

Torq
11 Apr 2026  #610

We had a pint and a snack and gossiped about you behind your backs. ;)

Torq left out some stuff. Upon meeting he said he's had "a change of plans, I must do something to finish. Would you like to come along?"

I said, sure. What I didn't realize was by Torq saying "to finish" he meant "to Finnish." So, once we made it to Westerplatte, I jumped on his back and he swam us to Finland. {heads up: the Baltic is cold in April}

Once we made it to Finland, Torq was hungry. So, he killed a wild boar with his pinky fingers and thumbs and roasted it on the Finnish shore.

After our meal, we ventured to a non-descript town. Torq asked me kindly to hold his jacket, which I obliged him. He roared something in a Slavic language that wasn't Polish. All of a sudden dozens and dozens of men wearing Bandera patches converged on the street. I scurried into a building out of fear, Torq commenced to quickly wiping the street with them. Once finished, he called for me and I handed him back his jacket and we headed toward the dock...

...where Torq changed into his Captain's uniform. You see, Torq moonlights as a ferry ship Captain-to satisfy his boating hobby.

Once back in Gdansk....we had a pint, a snack, and gossiped behind your backs.

Torq left out some stuff.

Well, I didn't want to bore everybody with the usual stuff. Gossiping over a pint was the pinnacle of all the fun, so I only mentioned that.

That's what was striking. It all seemed so mundane to you...just another day at the office.

Anyways, I met the big boss AntV yesterday - what a guy!

Oh, and he knows more Polish than he will admit, so be careful what you write in the 'Po polsku' section.

Well, It could be Alcohol is not good for him, Polish vodka made him delusional. But that version is not funny or interesting, it is flat.

Like Torqi said, only in my heart. Gdansk is a gem of a town. It rivals PoznaƄ-surpasses in certain respects.

Iron, are you a GdaƄskan? Next time I'm up there, you have to journey through a GdaƄskan day with Torq and me, you ole teetotaling battle axe.

People need to stop underestimating Poland

Join Orthodox Church....most cases subservient to the state

That is a western mindview, the one I am considering, the Eastern Orthodox Church, the patriach is in Istambul. Neither are the Syriac, Coptic (Egypt) and Ethiopian, Lebanese churches subservient to the state, which gives them a lot more freedom to be authentically Christian. Compare that to Catholic, which has the vatican nation-state and bank for itself with all the corruption, ruthlessness and evil infiltration that entails.

The Catholic religion, but also European Evangelicals, are the most tolerant religions in the world.
