Islam... the religion of peace.....what a joke that is!!!

Most Muslims adore Muhamed.The man who married a 6 year old girl.... the man who fancied his stepson's wife and persuaded his stepson to divorce her so that he could marry her.Some Muslims thought this was a bit incestuous and so Muhamed got a message from Allah that people could no longer adopt stepchildren.... so what he did was no longer incestious.....convenient for Muhamed.... everything he ever did in his life was to give himself advantage and allow him to do whatever he wanted to, because Allah told him to.His messages from Allah happened many times,always in his favour.

And these morons still follow him!They have been duped.....but there is little chance that they will ever realise it.

Oh please go on Barney and explain to us all why I am so stupid as to have not seen a contradiction in my statement......please don't back off like a coward....tell me what the contradiction in my statement is.....I will enjoy shooting you down in flames...... :-)

Both terms would apply to extremists from either religion.But you never hear the term Christianist because they exist, but are pretty rare.

Yes and Tommy Robinson has organised a huge rally called "Unite the Kingdom" in London this saturday.There is also a big Muslim demo at the same time.
British police are bringing out bulletproof vehicles to deal with this.

It was not founded on the Bible. It's a very hard to sell argument that Jefferson authored the Declaration on the Bible-he found the Bible so unsatisfactory that he "corrected" it by writing his own version.

Our founding is Christian in character, as is our culture; but, Jefferson himself imagined America would welcome Muslims as citizens.

The founding of the United States was heavily influenced by by the Bible and its concepts and morality.

So have many other religions that have broken away and started their own beliefs.

If you read my post again, you'll notice I said the US is not founded on the Bible, but it is founded on Christian principles/character and the acknowledgment of God (however one in the 18th century would perceive God-the Deist perceived God differently than the Christian or Jew). The Founders had a good number of Deists among them. However, to say it was founded specifically on Christianity is not correct. It wasn't founded on any specific religion, ergo free exercise of religion clause. However, most Founders, including Jefferson, thought Christianity best served the moral and ethical life of the country.


Jefferson wasn't a Christian in the true sense, kind of like Jehovah Witnesses or Mormons. He didn't believe Jesus was God, that He was divine. Jeffereson removed most, if not all, of Jesus' miracles and allusions to Christ's divinity from his King James bible. Jefferson did not believe in the resurrection, for example.

As far as listing all of the verses, you can go fishing for those yourself. Before visiting Monticello not too long ago, I read its website-it had some good and interesting stuff on there, including Jefferson's religious beliefs.
