Opposite of reality, because all of the worst perpetrators of atrocities in Syria are those fighting against multiculturalism (including Assad's regime and ISIS).

500 milion dollars spent on training syrians to fight isis

Yes that program has been a total failure thus far. Money down the drain. It is called corruption. Chronic problem under the Assad regime.

I don't think this has anything to do with Assad but rather the "good rebels" the American ZOG was trying to build up.

so you saying, american money wasted through corruption, to train syrian rebels, was Assad fault?
no it shows that Syrians don't want to fight radical savages.and removing Assad is opening door for ISIS to take over.USA couldn't find 10 syrians willing to fight ISIS.thats show how "moderate" syrians rebels are.

I don't think this has anything to do Assad but the "good rebels" the American ZOG was trying to build up.

They chose to finance the "coalition" which is a bunch of schmucks that have ZERO credibility in Syria. The logic is totally absent in this case.

Bad and good news at the same time, in case with refugee crisis. One truly never knows what to expect from Croatia. Today they can smile on you, tomorrow there are them stubbing you in your back. Hungary is something else. When Hungary make a mistake, Hungary is able to admit it and correct it. Seams that Hungary really just overreacted due to crisis with refugees, while Croatia using opportunity to provoke Serbia.

new complications of situation in the region. We now clearly see how those who rule EU (western European magnates) really don`t care for consequences of EU`s incompetence or to rather say- for EU`s lack of reaction that have to result in chaos in Europe, even in local wars, so that they- western European can prolong their control over other Europeans by the principle `divide and conquer`.

We all sow how these day relations between Hungary and Serbia were aggravated due to refugee crisis, as result of lack of EU`s respond to crisis. At the same time, Polish president Duda announced plans for Intermarium. Immediately, Hungary and Serbia understood message and moved to reconcile. But, Croatia as traditional German player suddenly decided to preserve atmosphere of hostility in the region and started to pressure both- Hungary and Serbia. What is interesting, these two countries again, mutually coordinating, responded to Croatia.

This German explains it perfectly

"I deeply question the wisdom and even more the motive for the no doubt meticulously engineered mass invasion of a near million young Muslim men of military age with a background of unspeakable depravity into a nation smaller than Montana.

Another red flag are the escalating accusations of xenophobia to silence people into forfeiting their democratic rights.
The many anti- nazi rallies, when the only thing missing is actual Nazis. It's like looking for unique horns.
And how has only one political group attained the right to use that word, when it is forbidden to all others in Germany to use it in such fashion?

My friend's kids have to paint "Welcome Migrants" pics and signs in school, while their parents disagree and worry but dare not speak up, afraid to lose their jobs or worse.

This early summer in Bremen, hundreds of school kids between the age of 8 and 12 marched against alleged racism, brandishing signs and beating their little hands against car and tram windows, bringing inner city traffic to a stop.

I marveled at the sheer political astuteness, focus and conviction of mere 10 year olds.
Their teachers (employees of the state) had instigated and organized this political rally on a school day no less.
It was creepy and frightening but, but looking back perfectly timed

I suspect the current chaos the migrants have created is also orchestrated. So much more can be undemocratically achieved in chaos than in transparent order.

Indeed the Euro is a currency that was designed to cause fiscal chaos in order to force nations into doing things against their own interests to save the Euro, by undermining their sovereignty and democracy.

Observing the big picture, it all fits nicely."

even more bad news, while refugee crisis turns to be episode in great clash of civilizations that globalize.

Actions of Croatia forced Hungary to practically announce mobilization of army reservists. For all who don`t know, Hungary and Croatia have far many opened questions in their relations. During Yugoslavia, Croatia was under Serbian protection. Now, Croatia thinks that EU and NATO can provide same shelter as provided Yugoslavia. At this moment, Croatia have Nazi regime, while politics of Hungary controls right sector (not ultra right but right- nationalistic). Also, what is also important element of politics in the region, Hungary and Serbia both feel obliged to Poland. When Poland moved for Intermarium, both Hungary and Serbia, as content, responded and aligned their politics in accordance with moves of Poland (both countries are interested in Intermarium, with Poland). With Croatia is different. Croatia always align its politics with Germany and western Europe. Meaning, these days Croatia MUST make problems to Hungary and to Serbia. Just, it can prove to be fatal for regime in Croatia.

It seems that one country cannot block anything any more. Qualified majority voting has taken care of that.

It seems that the migrants are going to "forcibly" be relocated to countries that they may not wish to live in. We have already seen how they react to not being allowed to go where "they" want.

Am I missing something or what. The way I understand this is that these people can only be 1 of 4 types,
1) Asylum Seeker
2) Refugee status
3) Economic migrant
4) Illegal immigrant

The first 2 have a well defined description of what they mean, If they are not a 1 or a 2 then by the power of deduction they must be a 3 or a 4, If they're a 3 from outside the EU or a 4 why are they not being returned? suddenly everyone comes from a war torn country.

It's just been announced that the UN is asking the UK to specifically take Syrians in with serious medical needs, rape victims, people with serious injuries due to shrapnel, bomb and gas attacks, these are not people who can simply be ''put up'' in someone's spare bedroom but in many cases will need adapted homes and potentially full time nursing care, how much is this going to cost at a time when local authorities in the UK are being told to tighten their budget spending. The home office will fund the first year of settlement after that the burden falls onto the local authorities.

Just to quote you from the BBC about the ''Gateway project''

Upon arrival (in the UK) they are met at the airport by a ''welcome team'' and taken to their new home, the next morning their integration plan begins. Like everyone else they are allowed to work and claim benefits, life in the UK will be explained with individual briefings and private lessons, School places are already made available for their children and a local GP already set up to take them as patients and where necessary, specialist to help with their long term medical problems.

There will be accompanied visits to the local job centre and colleges for those wishing to work or study.

Just another reason for me to know I made the right decision to leave the UK (not that I needed many)

Please, If anyone can enlighten me further, please do so, I will be eternally grateful.

Those "guestworkers" aka Katzelmacher from Spain, Greece, Italy, later Turkey, who arrived full of shattered hopes and twisted dreams to the shores of Germany at the start of the '60's too were met with welcome teams.... one, a Spaniard, was even presented with a brand new bicycle (before TV cameras) as a welcome giftLOL

How times have changed. Now that rusty bicycle's as tarnished as the nation's feelings about helping the underprivileged outsider.

Where has this mystical figure of 120,000 people come from, it was recently stated that 480,000 people from wherever have already descended on Europe already year to date. Croatia have just announced 44,000 in the last week with 9,800 arriving just on Monday.

Is the 120k part of the 480k or is it in addition to them. The BBC has stated that the people will be initially processed in either Italy or Greece????

So hands up, any volunteers to go and live in Estonia, I don't think so, would you? that said, I have visited Estonia and it is a beautiful country but to live there, hmm!!

Any countries refusing to accept their quota will be fined by the EU commission 0.002% of that countries GDP, so the threats from within have increased.

Like you mentioned and including translators, language teachers, psychologist, and other social workers. Not to mention the paper pushers. No surprise these are the most vocal supporters, or more precisely the quickest to use the hollow "Nazi! card".

To continue, the harsh lesson drawn here is that democracy is proving weak, especially when it is most desparately needed, when standing up for something must mean just that....even when one feels one can stand up no longer.

Don't you see? It's precisely when the pressure to succumb is great, as it is now, or as it was in 1933, that it becomes ever so easy to believe in the lies sold by those pandering to our most primal fears! Abandon brotherly love and love thy neighbor, and it's goosestepping through the Gates of Hell all over again.

America went though a depression, worse than anything it has ever experienced, no, not even the Reagan Revolution. ANd yet we never went down the path of Nazism. Why? Because the bedrock of belief in essential morality was unshakable.

...the harsh lesson drawn here is that democracy is proving weak

Germany has taken in hundreds of thousands of refugees already - what about all the other peace loving, oh so political correct democracies in Europe and elsewhere? I know that Merkel was stupid enough to open her big mouth without thinking, but to imply that something like 1933 could happen again because of that is a very long shot IMO. Wilders, Le Pen, Haider, UKIP, the Tea Party in the US, and lots of other political extremism happens somewhere else but not in Germany. Maybe it's time to look at other countries first before coming up with this "uh oh ... here we go again ... the Germans are goose-stepping through their cities and are preparing the concentration camps" nonsense. I believe that democracy in Germany is very strong. Actually much stronger than in many other European nations. Or did I misunderstand you?

Because the bedrock of belief in essential morality was unshakable.

Segregation? KKK in the 1920's? Imprisoning Americans of Japanese descent in labor camps during the war? Nuking civilians? Fire-bombing defenseless European cities? McCarthy? Dumping Napalm on innocent Vietnamese people? Agent Orange? Supporting terrorists like the Taliban before turning against them? How many examples do you need? Unshakable morality indeed, LOL. Sorry, Lyzko, I really like the US as a country, but what you've just said is simply naive.

Slovak minister in discussion with Germany vicechancellor said: We had referendum. People said that they don't want imigrants.
Vicechancellor response: We don't ask our people anything. We do what is best.
In basic he said that Slovakia is wrong if they acting democratically. Because will of the people is basic of democracy.

the crowd shouting traitor for Merkel? Sorry, but political extremism

That seems less like political extremism and more like a reasonable assessment (the only other possible assessment is that she is delusional and not responsible for her actions). How many non-traitors invite hundreds of thousands of young fighting age men from a region with a proven track record of low integration and economic underperformance and hostility towards local norms of behavior and traditions?

24 Sep 2015  #657

@Xxx: Absolutely! According to German statistics, over 200 refugees' shelters were criminally burnt down in 2015 and the year is not over. This week it has happened again (Baden-Württemberg). Claiming "no extremism" in Germany would sound like a joke if people's lives were not at stake. A simple visit to any former DDR town confirms it. Although I am white, 100% European, of catholic "origin" and middle-class, I am scarred to go to East Germany.

Claiming "no extremism" in Germany would sound like a joke if people's lives were not at stake.

When governments undertake policies that are hugely unpopular with a large majority of the population..... bad things happen. I don't support destroying refugee shelters (although 'refugees' have a habit of doing that themselves). But I do question why a relatively small, very crowded country like Germany needs 200 refugee shelters in the first place.

Wouldn't it be a lot more cost effective to operate shelters closer to the countries people are running from?

TheOther

Sorry, but political extremism may happen everywhere and labeling Germany as a bastion of morality while eastern European countries as a nest of rasizm is highly unfair and risky.

Read my post again. I did not say that there is no political extremism in Germany; I said that other countries have their share, too, and that these extremist have even reached government level or are/ were running the government. So blame France for a neo-Nazi like Le Pen, or Austria for Haider, or the Netherlands for Wilders, but don't put all the blame always on Germany. They have done more than enough to take in several hundreds of thousands of refugees. Oh, and by the way: I haven't mentioned east Europe in my post.

@The other: although I am (at least) 100% against Le Pen's Front National, to call them "neo-nazis" shows that you don't know anything about them. Front National is a populist part, includes and is supported by all kinds of people, including Jews, Muslims and gays (FN's no.2 and 3 are openly gay). I won't comment upon the other European parties because I don't know. Yet, Golden Dawn in Greece claims to be.
