Stefan is an idiot of the highest degree to say the least. He's desperately trying to get the Jonny Daniels position in Polish politics, but he's too stupid for that. More to the point, he wouldn't dare write that in English.

Don't be silly, plenty of tweets about racism in English and not broken English like yours: "he wouldn't dare to write that" or "he wouldn't dare writing that" is correct.

"He wouldn't dare TO WRITE.." is absolutely correct, whereas using the progressive form smacks clearly of second-language interference:-) Some verbs can be used with either the infinitive or the "-ing"-form (with occasionally varied meanings), but I'm afraid your example isn't one of 'em.

Tompson might make some fair points, but it isn't anything that people don't already know. I think he's just an opportunist who wants to make a name for himself in Poland. Take his recent video 'a response to Israel.' It was supposedly directed at an ignorant non-Polish audience, to teach them about German death camps. If so, why did he attempt to plug it all over the Polish media and try to get invited for interviews there [sometimes successfully]? Polish people know this already, so why was he doing interviews in Polish for Polish media? It would have made more sense if he was interviewed by non-Polish media, but of course, they don't give a damn about him. It's only the Polish media that make a fuss because 'oh look some foreign based polak is praising Poland, yippee, let's get excited about him.'

To the people interested in the issues he is talking about.

Indeed, for someone who claims to be so supportive of the current government, he has some very curious views. He also works for a company that is registered in the US, not in Poland, which rather makes a mockery of his claims - you'd think that working for a Polish company and paying tax in Poland would be normal, but not for creepy Stefan it seems.

Just a point: why was creepy Stefan trying to get an internship through Platforma? Why did he have nothing to say about Poland (beyond some crap about crossing on red lights) before November 2015?

Well yeah, we might disagree on certain fundamental things, but it seems we both dislike disingenuous opportunists, and he certainly seems like one of them.

There are actually quite a few of these in the UK - Polish people who organise events for other Poles under the guise of patriotism, but they are really just trying to make a name for themselves. I see through it - it's a shame others don't.

I can't see why any Pole would find any posts by StefanThompson objectionable.
He cares about politics.
Cares about Poland and Polish culture.
Speaks very well in both English and Polish.

And I don't think he's doing this for financial gain.

Miloslaw, why should a Polish person like him because he cares about politics or speaks two languages well? Those are strange reasons to give.

As for him not doing it for financial gain - he doesn't need to gain on this financially - he appears to live a fairly well-off life already. I assume he was born in to a rich family. He is however doing it for personal gain and recognition. If he was purely making these youtuve videos out of his love of Poland, he wouldn't be knocking on the doors of the Polish media, desperately trying to get them to promote his work. If you achieve recognition and fame through your work, that's one thing. If you do your work to achieve recognition and fame, that is totally different and something not to be admired.

A few youtube videos doesn't change much. If he genuinely cared about Poland, where are his videos highlighting the great things about this country? Why are they almost all in Polish and directed towards a Polish audience?

All that toad cares about is trying to get money and power from the government, nothing more. If the SLD win a snap election tomorrow, the toad will be making videos about how we should be closer to Russia.

Delph's had a wacky theory or two in the past, but this one about him possibly seeking to get government funding from PiS isn't so farfetched.

As mentioned already, he has suddenly taken an interest in Poland. He recently made a video supposedly educating the non-Polish audience on German Death Camps, even though he strangely promoted it in the Polish media, that didn't help get it out to the foreign audience, and I suspect most of those who watched it were Polish.

Here's a recent tweet of him talking about how with good funding some really positive things could be done for Poland's poor image.

Totally. If he's so concerned about it, he should be focusing on producing content for English language sources, not on playing to Poland. But you're right, look at the way that he's 'outraged' about money going somewhere else, and how he suggests that he should get the money instead.

I encourage parents not to send their children to these hotbeds of cultural marxism called Universities (at least in North America). Instead, form study groups locally and conduct degrees via correspondence. The degree is exactly the same, minus the indoctrination. And it's much cheaper.
