Monarchy vs The Republic

The Queen's speech has just been broadcast worldwide. Now then.......

Basically she was saying that it has been a difficult year, that God commands that we must love one another, that we are here on this earth to help one another, and that she thought that the refugee problem was of great import (she used carefully worded diplomatically written speech - BUT these are her own words)
Thanks God Britain's standing in the world is upheld by it's monarchy.

Meanwhile....... Poland's reputation lies in the gutter, thanks to the latest proceedings, and to it's stance on housing refugees. Let us not forget that, at this time of year especially.

And some people actually want Britain to be a republic....... I'm not a religious man, but I am very proud of my Queen for speaking on behalf of all respectable people everywhere.

Yet another crying thread of about PiS winning the elections, only put in a different words, is this going to ever end or will the forum users have to put up with it for another 4 years?

No Wulkan - because this criminal government will not last four years.

This thread is about what happens when people in their ignorance vote for a eye-contact avoiding law academic, who then backtracks on the law, and cons the Fakt reading electorate.
I was suggesting that a modern monarchy, though not elected, keep the hell out of controversy, and are simply benovolent and humanistic, and are a God fearing figurehead. That's all society needs. A figurehead.
Everything in fact the ape grinning Duda is not.

If the last criminal government lasted 8 years then I don't see this one not lasting half of this time. Care to back up your prediction and bet me or it's just your wishful crying?

The Queen's speech has just been broadcast worldwide.

Not on any of the main t.v. channels here in the U.S.A. and highly doubtful in China either.
(Thank goodness)

For catholics worldwide the Pope is the figurehead.

I will repeat again - as the USA mods felt free to bin my thread:

The Queen gave her Christmas address today, televised live ALL OVER the world, which PIS would do very well to heed. The Queen is one of the World's leading humanists, for the attention of the MOD who binned my thread - who obviously needs to educate himself about her importance.
That's the British Queen by the way, the only one that actually matters in the world.

As I was saying, the Queen's standing as an unelected Monarch is in contrast to the elected role of President that has been (temporarily) afforded to Duda.

One is respected in the world

What the Queen said (I am repeating myself as the MODS so rudely binned my first comments) was that we should all love each other, and she referred to Joseph and Mary having to flee with their babe from persecution. That is, we should strive to meet our humanistic responsibilities and help the refugees - NOT BREAK our promises to take (miserably low) quotas.

That's what she said. Now - who has more respect in the world - the Queen - or some liar posing as a lawyer? She is putting her words up there to ber considered

In the meantime this criminal gang we now have as government in Poland are not living up to their humanist responsibilities and are threatening us all with dictatorship.

Can't wait for the New Year and more KOD demonstrations!

PS MODS You let Crows' insane ramblings about a greater Serbia to go unchecked. So dare you leave this up?

Merry Christmas again one and all.

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.

We have the Pope Francis. The government in Poland should listen to him more carefully. You are right.
