Since Shane died, my favourite version of it is this one:

They definitely did the song justice in that version and it's a lovely tribute.

The BBC refused to play the original version of it on their radio stations this year.

I first heard them in their album Clannad 2, which began my deep frustration with Irish people for neglecting their incredible sounding language...

Moya Brennan had a beautiful voice but was never one of my favourites. I saw her live a few times pre global fame but never liked the later cod celtic sound they popularised.

She had a lovely voice and sad she's gone. The obit said that a couple of her family in the band predeceased her which is also sad.

Songs like this - great vocal and arts, it's a full package. If you're a man, watch one of the sexiest moves by a woman. If you hate women, you are a retard. She was 18 when she wrote/recorded it, many followers stole her arts, make up, and moves, even up to today.
