Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades

Miloslaw
10 Mar 2022  #4681

Even my father's side of the family that were sent to Siberian Labour camps in WW2, never had a bad word to say about ordinary Russian people.

Quite the opposite, they spoke about Russian warmth and generosity, despite the fact that they were so poor and had little to offer.
But they absolutely hated the Russian state and their evil and corrupt leaders.
Little has changed in Russia for most of its history.
Now is time for change.

But Russians need to be brave and accept that this will involve huge sacrifices.

They need to shake off their dog like subservience to autocratic regimes.
Russia has to become free, just as most of Eastern Europe did.
Only then will we see Russians as our true European brothers.
In the meantime, Russians will suffer as the pariah of the world.

And the pro Russian idiots on this forum need to care more for Russian people and less about Russian pride.

Your people over your pride.

What do Poles think about Kamala Harris laughing at the reporters questions today in Warsaw?

As an American, I am totally embarrassed by her. Simply put, she is a moron!

youtu.be/vsdNO_7rhLM

Ex-Zelensky rep rips Harris for laughter, says it would be 'tragedy' if she's ever president
nypost.com/2022/03/10/harris-slammed-for-laughing-after-question-about-ukrainian-refugees/

She's being slammed back home, rightfully so!

Super powerful delivery by former Russian MP Nevzorov, full of black humour and that famous russian lyricism. Apparently he also had a very popular radio show in the 90s in St Petersburg, and Putin was a fan, hence he's one of the few people who is allowed to speak his mind, pity Putin did not listen to him though.

Hmm.. Lots of "Brave" Russkies on here, claiming the U.S. is feckless, yet typing from Brighton Beach or something.

I'm Slav - American too but don't wag your Euro finger at us, please. The European (since '45) is a demanding bum that wants us to a. ) pay for everything. b. ) die for you while you hide underground. Hey "fat retard" remove X, Y, Z villian from our midst or your too are a Nazi. You are family.. very grating family. This MiG bullshit fell through, because the Poles (once again) wanted a bunch of new technology for something lesser. They were out to con us. Understand?? We've sent billions to the Ukrainians; we will eventually house a lot of them. Try the decaf , maybe?

we will eventually house a lot of them

Of course not, darling. :):) Who told you that?

I'm Slav

No, you are not. You are just a moaning azzhole. :))

Understand??

Yes, we do understand what you are. :):).

Heroical deeds of the Russian army continue...

" -The boys walked into the forest yesterday and saw a lot of bodies - civilians with bags on their heads.
- Who was it? Ukrainians?
- Yes?
- But why like this?
- They were walking towards our positions, they were stripped and checked - they had nothing. But we had to make a decision what to do with them. We couldn't let them go or they might tell our positions and we would be hit by artillery, so we shot them, all of them, there in the forest".

wydarzenia.interia.pl/raporty/raport-ukraina-rosja/aktualnosci/news-rozmowa-rosyjskiego-zolnierza-z-dziewczyna-jak-to-nie-bedzie,nId,5884141

Russia is conducting a terrorist war - they killed more civilians than Ukrainian soldiers

wydarzenia.interia.pl/raporty/raport-ukraina-rosja/aktualnosci/news-minister-obrony-ukrainy-rosjanie-zabili-wiecej-ukrainskich-c,nId,5884575

Plus countless reports of similar crimes, theft and rape. Denazifiers and liberators indeed!

never had a bad word to say about ordinary Russian people

Of course not - Russians in small numbers are harmless. Like in this old Czech saying: you see 1 Russian - he will be your great pal, you see 10 Russians - you will have a great party, drinking, singing etc., you see 100 Russians - RUN!

Really amazing how this board goes so quiet right when things are going badly for Russia. Maybe Putin called some of these guys up for meat replacement on the front lines?

It's shocking how morally degenarated those Russian soldiers heard in those calls are. Not everything in that Interia article was included though, here's more:

Wow, thanks for the link, this guy is great, he's spot on... The only thing he got wrong are those zinc coffins - there aren't any, because the Russians are either leaving their dead to be eaten by dogs or burn them in mobile crematories ;O Think about the stark contrast to how the Americans, for example, are treating their fallen soldiers and their families...

I hope Nevzorov won't end up in a labour colony at some point...

pity Putin did not listen to him though.

It looks like he did about those zinc coffins...

I doubt it, it looks like only Velund actually lives in Russia ;)

More than 40 Republican U.S. senators yesterday called for President biden to aid "the transfer of aircraft and air defense systems" to Ukraine a day after officials quashed Poland's offer to send fighter jets with American help.

The senators said in a letter that they "strongly disagree" with the biden administration's stance on Poland's proposal, and that the Ukrainian military is in "dire need of more lethal aid" as it fights Russia's invasion.

Have to say I agree with them. The US and Poland should just make these moves without telling anyone and crush these Russians. Putin is not going nuclear. He is not going to invade a NATO country. Flatted his army and then tell him politely to stay behind his borders or die. Simple. Cant be nice to a bully, eventually someone has to kick his a$$.

Velund to be fair is a reserve officer and he is probably waiting for that letter telling him its time to clean his boots and pick up his rations (thankfully now supplemented by out of date Filet-o-fish from the closed McDonalds (all the beef was stolen by higher ups long ago).

No surprise they are stealing tv sets - owning a color one is a dream come true for your average joe on the tram in Moscow.

Much to think about.

It's what I've noticed many, many times. Poles can get along with everyday Russians and like and appreciate some Russian culture... it's the hyper-aggressive Russian state that they don't like (can you think of a single reason why they should like it?)

Yup, the Moscow City Ballet is coming to Kielce every year, I think (I've been at their performances myself). I wonder if my city is going to boycott them now...

A legendary Canadian sniper joined Ukrainians:

You don't say? Is that why 20% of the "likes" under Russian folk songs on YouTube are Polish?

When it comes to Russian folk songs everyone in YouTube comments is suddenly a radical Pan-Slavist!

@Crnogorac3 - just a little something for you and your Russian friends that might actually make you pause for thought:

When the maternity hospital was bombed on Wednesday there were two completely different and contradictory official statements from Russia, from the very same government department.

1) At first Mr Lavrov defended the attack and said the hospital had stopped treating patients and had been occupied by Ukrainian "radicals".

2) Later, the Russian Defence Ministry denied having bombed the hospital at all and said that the Ukrainians did it themselves.

So, which of these official Russian government stories is true?? Could it possibly be that they're both - wait for it, wait for it - lies!! Surely not???!!!

Paulina

I personally think that Russian culture is great... Pity the Russians like to be governed by "zamordist" rulers so much though... :/

Love it.

Yeah, they are not only showing how to start it, but also how to drive it ;D

Russians steal Ukrainian TV sets and Ukrainians steal Russian tanks lol

two completely different and contradictory official statements

1. Lavrov referred to the information disseminated at the meeting of the UN Security Council that the hospital has not been functioning for its intended purpose for a long time, and in fact is a barracks and a fortified point of Azov. I didn't hear him "justify the attack" during the press conference.

2. Army representatives said that on the day of the explosion, the air force was not performing any tasks in the Mariupol area. They referred to experts who said that even a low-yield high-explosive bomb hitting a building would completely collapse the facade of a building of this type. It was assumed that there was a buried explosion of a pre-planted charge to create a cloud and a small charge to damage the facade, all for video shooting.

3. A pregnant local beauty blogger who portrayed the injured patient was painted in the style of Hollywood films - the "blood" from alleged beatings or injuries on her face is very picturesque, but no swelling or bruising. Only those who have never been punched in the face can believe this. ;)

Where is the contradiction?

Tacitus
11 Mar 2022  #4703

Lies, lies and more lies. That is all one gets and can expect from Russian officials.

We have now literally millions of Ukrainians in the West who tell us their story, your lies are pwerless.

Just back from the gym, and ran into 20 Irish army veterans who spent the night in Krakow signing their papers yesterday at the Ukraine embassy to join the war. Very professional military men, clearly veterans, and they are heading to Ukraine as I write.

This is what the Russians, and Russian supporters do not understand. Everyone with the exception of a very few outlying countries is against not only this war, but against the Russian government. It has been this way for a century, and it is not going to change. If anything these feelings and beliefs will only become more hardened positions. The world is lined up against Russia, and Russia knows they cant win.

Now Putin thinks by taking corporate business property in Russia he is going to hurt corporate America? Keeping leased planes and not paying for them? Yes, corporate will take some short term losses, but they will not return to Russia in a very long time if ever at all. Once again, the government F's the people of Russia. While the west has some idiots in government, none of them are this dumb.

@Velund
I pity you.

Isn't this Azov supposed to be a battalion? Maybe it's a regiment? Maybe it's a division? Maybe it's a corps or maybe an entire front called "Azov"? I am just wondering because apparently every hospital and every school were sheltering "Azov" soldiers. Is it possible that Azov battalion soldiers were sent to hospitals and schools all over Ukraine - one soldier to one hospital/school? About 300 schools and hospitals were destroyed or damaged by Russian artillery fire, so it's probably exactly how it was: each building was a "barracks and a fortified point" of one Azov battalion soldier. Makes sense.

Paulina

@GefreiterKania, my thoughts exactly lol :D Azov soldiers must be behind every corner in Ukraine lol You open a fridge and there's a whole Azov battalion hiding there! :D

It's a bogeyman created by Putin to justify invading a peaceful neighbor and killing civilians...

Stalin (who helped build up Nazi germany and who was an ally of Hitler until he got stabbed in the back by him) pioneered the modern Russian tactic of calling anyone who disagrees with the Russian government a nazi...

The ever fascinating Kamil Gileev has more...
