Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades

mafketis

Putin fighting US and UK proxies

Putin's not fighting anyone. He's ordered Russian soldiers to invade a peacable and non-hostile country and civilian citizens of that country are dying.

And you support that.

Velund

Who says anything about dying?

This is war. You should be ready to kill and die, if you wish to be side of conflict. Or keep neutrality and stay aside, as far as possible.

peacable and non-hostile country

We have other practical experience.

@Velund

I don't think you're a Russian troll. Merely a person fed nonsense by putinist media. I would, therefore, like to ask you: according to putinist propaganda, Russian nationalists etc. - what is the balance of gains against losses for Russia in this war?

What do you think you will gain and what you will lose? I ask because I assume that you must think that gains outweigh losses (otherwise there would be no point starting the war). So, what's your short summary of predicted gains/losses for Russia here?

Is Poland or the West at war with Russia? No, it isn't.

Or keep neutrality and stay aside, as far as possible.

Says who? You? lol

We have other practical experience.

Oh please... If some other country would take away a chunk of Russian land, you wouldn't be doing anything about it? Of course you would be. You wouldn't even let go Chechnya even though those weren't and aren't Russian ethnic lands. You freaking leveled Grozny to the ground. So, sorry, but you can shove your hypocrisy up your ass.

Ha, ha. And who says women aren't just as ferocious as men if need be? :) See @Crnogorac3 - women as defence ministers can do a good job as well :)

@Velund
Are you prepared to die? Or are you a coward punk like Putin. Get your gun and head to the street.

Paulina

women as defence ministers can do a good job as well :)

Haha lol I'd be an awesome defence minister xD Maybe even too ferocious ;D

GefreiterKania

I bet! Anyone who thinks that women can't be ferocious and extremely difficult to negotiate with has obviously never dealt with women. ;)

@PolAmKrakow

They will not. Just like Novicock, they are all keyboard warrior trash. Though they deserve the same fate as Putin.

Are you prepared to die?

I'm a tank forces reserve officer, and I have a mobilization order to be executed in case of martial law. If the order comes, I'll go to the assembly point and do what I have to do, whatever happens.

I'm a tank forces reserve officer

:(

The worst job ever on a modern battlefield. It's not WW2 - tank's estimated survival time in battle is something close to 6 minutes, isn't it? Take care of yourself, Velund, if the sh*it hits the fan. You may be blinded by putinist propaganda, but you are a PF member. This forum doesn't have too many posters to lose.

what's your short summary of predicted gains/losses for Russia

No answer? Well, I didn't really expected any. Totally irrational move by Putin.

as far as I know the US didn't invade Cuba in 1962 - but correct me if I'm wrong

The US didn't but the volunteers did and the US knew about it.
The US threw a fit when the USSR started bringing their stuff to Cuba the way the US is bringing their stuff to Eastern Europe. Please don't make me repeat it again.

Velund

Take care of yourself

I am already at the upper edge of conscription age, and the tanks for which I am trained (T64B/B1) have already been withdrawn from active use in the army and are in storage bases in mothballed condition. So I would only have to jump up in case of a really large-scale conflict.

GefreiterKania

Good to hear. Hope this nightmare ends soon.

the US is bringing their stuff to Eastern Europe.

United States hasn't brought nukes into Ukraine - what is more there are no American nukes in Poland even though Poland is in NATO since 1998 IIRC - before the Russian invasion there were about 2000 American soldiers in Poland - can you explain to how they posed a threat to Russia - also: the whole of Russia is in the range of American ICBMs - so what difference would it make if there were any in Ukraine (care to explain - even though it is just a theoritical development)

USSR started bringing their stuff to Cub

it wasn't just stuff - these were tactical missiles ready to carry nuclear warheads (in the time where Russians didn't have ICBMs afaik)

United States hasn't brought nukes into Ukraine

But had them in Turkey in 1962 first before the USSR decided to get even. So who was the aggressor in196x?

before the Russian invasion there were about 2000 American soldiers in Poland

Useless but annoying - just as Russian troops would be Mexico.

I respect your honesty in your commitment to your country. I hope you will respect mine if I find you in a tank in Poland and I have a shot.

before the Russian invasion there were about 2000 American soldiers in Poland

And they were brought into only after Crimea was annexed.

In Polish TV there is a lot of stupid propaganda. I guess something like they have in Russia.

Should Poland let in refugees from Ukraine if they are fighing age males? (I guess women are not equal there)

Velund
25 Feb 2022  #1793

No answer? Well, I didn't really expected any.

The ideal result would be zero dead Ukrainians, zero dead Russians, and an arrested master of playing the piano with a dick, along with those who gave the criminal orders that led to the deaths of people in Donetsk and Lugansk. But the ideal is unattainable. So the fewer casualties the better, except for the scumbags from the three western regions - Ukrainians are, at heart, normal people.

While I realize you are only doing your job, your Putin is a liar. Trying to prop up those lies here is a waste of time and a waste of rubles. The only criminal is Putin, and any person carrying out his illegal invasion. Which imo should be punished by death.

Velund
25 Feb 2022  #1795

illegal invasion

Much more legal that NATO intervention to Yugoslavia and seccession of Kosovo. Putin is elected President, and you have no options, as well as we not have other options than Biden to deal with. Putin is our choice, Biden is yours, this is only allowed gamble in this world.

GefreiterKania

Ukrainians are, at heart, normal people.

Like people everywhere - normal folks, who just want to get on with their lives. And they should be able to decide for themselves the road their country wants to take, the alliances and international organisations they want to belong to.

Of course not.

Should Poland let in refugees from Ukraine if they are fighing age males?

Fighting age males can't leave Ukraine now:

...and it's the other way around now - many conscription age Ukrainian men are leaving Poland to fight for their country.

so if your neighbour is annoying you grab a gun and go shoot him or someone from his family?

I'm all for free speech but isn't it better to just ignore paid trolls. They will never add anything useful and maybe even they get paid per post. Sad existence for them and I hope when they are old they will regret their days of shilling for a murderer.
