Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 5

Korvinus

Are you planning to join them?

I don't have to fight in the war I can just support the policy of supplying arms and supplies to Ukraine instead, which I am. Every bullet expended in Ukraine is a bullet not needed here, to defend Poland once the hordes come.

I can just support the policy of supplying arms

How do you do that? Did you vote in a referendum or volunteer to pay more taxes or make a donation?
If so, how much did you pay?

Only an insane Polak would need a source

No, I am not insane and still demand a source for your false claims. Until you provide them, you are a liar. Woof! Woof! Woof! hahaha

I already did. The best source is you.
Or go to Kiev and take a poll as I just did earlier today.

This happens in russia... it doesn't happen in Ukraine....

Ukaine 1 - russia 0

What is so great about russia being in charge of Ukraine that it's worth the lives of 150,000 russian men?

Until you can answer that just shut up with your stupid discredited lies.

How wonderful for my Ukrainian brothers. I will make sure to deliver this message to them.

Quoting dailymail.com:

Bakhmut is 'nearly destroyed like Mariupol' as Russian forces encircle Ukrainian eastern front town on three sides.

Bakhmut's deputy mayor Oleksandr Marchenko has accused Russian troops of turning the town into a new Mariupol.

Accused??? They have been trying to do that for months - openly and for all to see. To them, it's an achievement.

He told the BBC: 'Not a single building remains untouched. They want to destroy Bakhmut like they did with Mariupol.'

All buildings would be untouched if Z listened to me, instead of DC.

BTW, Mariupol is coming to life like mushrooms after a summer rain.

Tell them this from me. I'll try to say it seriously, for the Poles. Most of us don't fight in this war (except for some volunteers) but many support Ukrainians because in their present we see our past experience.

Poles also fought long and hard to be free of Russian dominance, corruption and terror. Our ancestors who participated in this fight were sometimes exiles or war refugees. After many lost battles we finally managed to win our independence in 1989 and were finally able to choose our destiny, this time without Kremlin's meddling. First years were difficult, the old world previously shaped by the Iron Curtain and the Cold War divide was collapsing around us, but looking back, we wouldn't make many different choices.

We believe every nation & nation state should have the right to choose its sovereign path. Today Russia is once again indulging in its imperial fantasy and trying to subjugate Ukrainians, and so we support their fight for what we can already enjoy: freedom to make our own choices. Which of course also means, making our own mistakes.

I'm sure that even victory in this war will not turn the life of Ukrainians into heaven on Earth. When initial euphoria ends, there will be many tough years ahead. The country will need to be rebuilt, many people will feel like their sacrifices have not been properly honored. In comparison, subjugation may seem a simpler, less painful path. And yet, if they choose to fight for the right to choose their own destiny, we feel they deserve our support.

Russian trolls seem to be putting almost as much energy into Bakhmut as their underfed army is. Now the reason is clear - Prigozin says they are running out of ammo and it is the Russians who might need to withdraw. Whatever happens the Russians have expended way too much armor and ammo on this town and it will not be replaced - turns out the Chinese want dollars and not rubels for providing weapons.

To assure their own defeat, Russians stop making ammo.

He told the BBC: 'Not a single building remains untouched.

You trust BBC, cms, don't you?
OK, I got it. It was the scorched earth tactics by Zeemen. Russians are still trying to find Bakhmut on their 1920 Soviet maps.

WASHINGTON ― The defense minister of Baltic ally Lithuania voiced skepticism over the recent Pentagon assessment that Russia, after months of fighting Ukraine and slapped with western sanctions, would deplete its fully-serviceable ammunition stockpiles by early 2023.

Never a truer word spoken.
Russians have fought very hard to earn the hatred and distrust of their neighbours, Now it's payback time!

What is this supposed to mean? Invade Russia?

Anyway, back to the real world...ABC said just now that Bakhmut is about to be overrun by the Russian troops.

"Mr. President, American sons and daughters will not go to fight for you.
You are not worth one drop of American blood"

Zelensky speaks about other people's sons and daughters while he didn't send anybody of his own. Why that doesn't surprise me at all

PolAmKrakow
6 Mar 2023  #1399

And Putin speaks of sons and sends mommies new cars when he can produce the parts to build them. And Putins chef is now publicly complaining that if he does not get the ammunition that was promised that they cannot finish taking Bakhmut. Direct words from his mouth publicly. But lets ignore those facts and keep blowing little Vlad.

PF-N-B-V= much better discussion. Figure that equation out, and happy gulag biatches!

They ran out of cars long ago, now they give towel sets or bags of pelmeni.... (or let the mother pose with a fur coat before taking it back)

How much is a son's life worth to a russian family?

A bag of dumplings.... If someone doesn't feel repelled at that... then something is very wrong with them

he didn't send anybody of his own

Just a little independent reporting with quotes. You know, the kind of thing that little Putinazi idiots hate.

Another report is saying:

The Ukrainians have used Bakhmut to inflict massive losses on the attacking force: by some estimates at a ratio of 7:1.

....it could turn out even worse for Putin:

Interesting. I wonder how that happened? Maybe the idea of being sanctioned like the Orcs didn't appeal to Xi? lol

Imagine China losing the USA, and the EU as a customer for its cheap clothes and other garbage. Imagine duplicate sanctions on China that are on Russia. With the Chinese economy in free fall the last three years they would enter a depression in less than three months. The west is delivering the message to China in a very unified way. Xi, knows he cannot really cozy up to little Vlad and that any help will be small and through third party countries of other former Soviet republics. Money talks.

Military support may simply not be feasible for Beijing.

The rumoured drone deliveries would not doubt be useful, but they would hardly be sufficient to end the war quickly and would leave China open for economic retaliation. China is still hoping to increase its' influence in Europe long-term, openly siding with Russia would put an end to it. Not to mention that if Russia were to lose despite Chinese assistance, ot would also be counted as a Chinese defeat and a blow to China's prestige. There are reports that the Chinese leadership are aghast about the incompetence of the Russian leadership in conducting the war. Would they really trust them now? Right now they are siding with Russia and benefiting from the war to some degree without qny reaponsibilities.

I've also read claims that siding with Russia is not popular with the Chinese people. They dont like the West and are thus rooting for a Russian victory, but many do not think that China should make great sacrifices on their behalf with no obvious gains. Notably a similar attitude was observed regarding the Chinese "silk road" programe, with many Chinese being angry about their government spending bns in foreign countries (and sometimes even absolving debts) in times of economic hardship.

What ?
Both countries began to cut back their bilateral trade invoiced in dollars, a joint pledge to push back against dollar hegemony.
Imagine if they can end the dollar's primacy with a mix of digital and cryptocurrencies and alternative payment systems, US supremacy will end. Forever !

Russia's ruble is showing surprising strength of late and seemingly irreversible decline.
The dollar's dominance is already eroding as central banks diversify into the Chinese yuan.
That's what I read.

Money talks.

And the dominate currency talks the loudest.

PolAmKrakow
6 Mar 2023  #1409

@johnny reb
Dominant currency is the Dollar, Euro, and Pound. Crypto? You mean as Crypto is becoming centralized by national banks? The Yuan will never be accepted in the West. For a multitude of reasons, and the Ruble is still being propped up by a closed stock market. Thankfully though, I am getting 4.4 zloty to a dollar and I have bought a ton of zl in the last year so when the dollar does roll back I will make about 25% on just holding the cash. When the war is over, and reconstruction in Ukraine begins, you do understand that they will be on the Euro and Dollar payment system right? Approximately 500 billion in reconstruction money and then another 300 to 500 to bring Ukraine in line with EU standards. Yeah, the Dollar is going nowhere.

Meanwhile, Ukraine just hit Russian territory again with a drone strike. Funny how that keeps happening.

A very good point except that it's a copy of what I wrote:

Russia's ruble is showing surprising strength of late

...as well as Russia's GNP:
