Russia or the USSR has been trying to destroy the west for nearly a century now. Not very successful. That said, due to the wests retarded immigration and tolerance policies of LGBT whatever initials you want to add, this is Russia, China and India's best opportunity to knock the US down. The problem for Russia is they cant do it themselves, China and India need the US badly for trade. So, while the US is certainly in crisis management mode, there is no real fear of Russia bringing it down.
