Tacitus

@Ironside

I never said anything about selling

You phrased it worse.

For those poor, gullible souls who think this is about Ukraine.... a russian general says the quiet part out loud.... (on russian state media so his message is approved).

"- Is (Ukraine) just a stage?
- Yes, exactly. It's just the beginning."

Stop russia in Ukraine or try to stop russia later further west...

Ironside

You phrased it worse.

Germany would exchange Ukrainian interest, independence and land for deal with Russia. Germany economic sucess of the last few decades depended on Russian ores and Chinese market but the key was Russian gaz and oil. Right now your economy suffer big time.

Don't tell me you wouldn't grab that deal with Russia deal given half a chance....
phrazing aside (saves time but carry meaning across all the same).

Yes, exactly. It's just the beginning

Lots to do after Ukraine. This is how the list of priorities would look like according to Bobko:

1) Smash both Azerbaijan and Armenia. What happened there was hugely embarrassing to Russia's prestige. Azerbaijan must be punished for exploiting our preoccupation with Ukraine. Armenia must be punished for its lack of faith before, and since. In short, Russia must restore its influence in the Caucasus - at the expense of Turkey.

2) Settle whatever problems are brewing between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, in order to again further Russia's influence in Central Asia, and prevent the formation of any Afghan-type situation at our doorstep.

3) Exert maximum pressure on Moldova, reminding them where most of their male population works and earns money, and where all their energy comes from.

4) Strengthen aid to North Korea by a factor of 10, to remind Japan and South Korea that it was foolish to throw in their lot with Ukraine.

5) Work closely with India and Iran, to isolate Pakistan - though this might irritate China. Those silly Pakis provided a ton of military aid to Ukraine. I'm not sure what Russia ever did to Pakistan, but they've certainly earned themselves an enemy.

I think those should be the first priorities. Poland is likely priority #52 in such a list.

Your list of priorities shows everything that is wrong with Udmurtia

Prestige ? You will have none for several centuries to come

Priorities should be flush toilets, mains electricity and some half edible food for the serfs

Ironside
8 Sep 2023  #1686

oland is likely priority #52 in such a list.

Ha ha , Poland is under NATO umbrella so Russia wouldn;t dare cross that line, that is the only reason that in Moscow chamber of the great Khan there is a label with no - next time when there is an oppening - on the Special Operation Poland manual.

Ha ha

Do you agree that dealing with those clowns in Azerbaijan and Armenia should be the first priority after Ukraine?

@Ironside

Don't tell me you wouldn't grab that deal with Russia deal given half a chance

Of course not. Literally every leading German politician - save for the Far left and Far right who are nowhere near taking power - says the same. That it is up to Ukraine to make peace with Russia and that Germany should support Ukraine as long as it takes. And Berlin has already taken stepa to ensure that years-long support.

At some point it should sink in that we are living in the year 2023, not 1939.

Ironside
8 Sep 2023  #1690

Do you agree

Hey, I'm not going give you tips or green lights, you have Grikin, ask him.

On the other hand since you asked.

My advice is - why wait? Go for them now! Don't spare your effort! Put your back to it!

At some point it should sink in that we are living in the year 2023, not 1939.

Maybe it should sink in that I don't think in those terms. Why bring 1939 into it?
I'm only looking at what had been done rather than what had been said. In that light Germany policiy is not that clear, unless it has changed in last few weeks significantly.

Bobko
8 Sep 2023  #1691

Put your back to it!

I'm afraid we might break our back in the process!

But then... America managed to fight two wars at the same time, so we should be able to do the same - right? Since we copy everything they do...

Problem is - Ukraine is just a little bit stronger than Iraq (like Schwarzenegger is stronger than Mr. Bean), and Azerbaijan is also a little more formidable than Afghanistan (difference between a rich modern petrostate and a place run by feudal goatherders).

Tacitus
8 Sep 2023  #1692

Why bring 1939 into it?

Because if you look for a precedent for that kind of betrayal, you would have to go back to 1939.

The German government has not given any reason to think that it would sell out Ukraine to Russia. At this point Berlin has given more aid to Ukraine than any other European country and is also prepared to go beyond that.

In short, Russia must restore its influence in the Caucasus - at the expense of Turkey.

Too late. Another consequence of the war. Now russia also have US troops on their southern border..

Armenian Defense Ministry announced that Armenian-American military exercises will be held in the country from September 11 to 20.

I'm sure USA will give Turkey a hand in breaking up your sh*thole country..

like Schwarzenegger is stronger than Mr. Bean

A very bad example Bobi, Schwarzenegger has had 3 heart surgeries, the last one of which he barely survived. Unlike him, Mr. Bean is in a great shape.

Polish Defense Chief Andrzejczak lays down cold hard truth on Americans, stating he's not surprised at ferocity of Russian troops fighting in Ukraine and warns West NOT to underestimate Moscow, telling bewildered show hosts they can't compare Russian forces to Western standards.

@Ironside
I understand that completely. Germany wants to keep stroking Vlad for cheap gas. France is just a country full of socialist fvcks. But Germany and France cannot live without US military aid, presence and tourism.

The argument that EU countries want to compete with the US is pretty funny though. With all the EU taxes, they will never be able to directly compete on a scale close to the US. This is just the economics of the world. Germany, France, Spain and Italy combined cant come close, and their exports to the US are vital to their economies so losing the US in any way will do more damage to the EU than any small benefit that may come.

Great interview. Intelligent guy. Excellent English too. Duda should take some lessons from him.

Trying to find the whole interview, but i think it's been scrubbed. rule no1 don't say white people are fundamentally different from other white people, and that russians are different from poles culturally because that just disrupts the msnbc message white devil blm etc. . rule no 2 don't say the russians will fight to the death just like Ukrainians.

It's an old interview. No idea why you brought it up now.

It's from Feb. 8, 2023:

STFU you ruski scum, no Andrzejczak back in Washington and thats a new interview. I always knew the old one with the daughter of your nemesis, Zbigniew Brezinski.

He kicked your ruski a*s out of Afghanistan and Zbig lives on, and also saw the collapse of the soviet empire which gave Poland freedom. You read the Grand Chessboard? U know when he said that russia could not survive without Ukraine as a client state. Well Zbig dream lives on. He goaded u in Afghani, he gave Poland Freedom, A great mind, like Kissinger. U guys are f*cked

see this is the diference between Ukraine and **** russia

The arrest of the tycoon - one of Ukraine's richest men and once an ally of President Volodymyr Zelensky - comes as Kyiv says it is still determined to crack down on corruption during the Russian invasion.

Like this, for example.

I don't know why such thoughts occur in your head, or why you wrote this to me. However, as mentioned, I'm no longer inclined to dwell on it for any amount of time.

But Germany and France cannot live without US military aid, presence and tourism.

A good benchmark for all observers is the european will to take over the defense from the US and build a european army....and till right now it is only a project in the minds of a few Europeans, to many countries are not interested or even against it. Especially now in these times of crisis there is even less will to put real money into that idea.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_army

That leaves a nearly total dependence on the US/NATO!

It's this fact which also tethers Germany, no matter the gov, to the US....Germany will only sell out Ukraine if that becomes USian policy too, till then we will support Ukraine, even if it costs us our gas deliveries...it's what it is, for the good and for the bad!
