No worries, Poles have learned that no matter what a Pole does, thinks, means or wants. The end goal of Germans and Russians states is for the obliteration and destruction of Poland and possibly Poles by the most efficient tools and means necessary, Darwinistic approach at it's very peak.

So when a German comes to a Pole talking about their might and strength and how they are supposed to do anything it gives rolling eyes, when a Russian comes and talks about the might of the Russian army and how Russia can and will nuke Poland it gives a thought of: "Oh this again... Isn't this kind of getting old already?"

But when a German or Russian shows compassion, love, empathy or willingness to trade and live peacefully it wakes up bewilderment, curiosity and a doze of: "Is this guy for real? Why is he like this?"

Expectations are rather low

So smile, don't worry and no need to think about Polish reactions to how much and how often you want to nuke Poland

Sorry, its not short sighted to take care of your own people first. When the US infrastructure is literally crumbling, bridges are being closed because they are unsafe, roads are unsafe, and there is unsafe drinking water in many cities, it is more fair to say the US has been short sighted on taking care of the people for the last 50 years. Fighting everyone elses wars for democracy lasted decades, and now its just a matter of funding this war? No. When Ukraine will be rebuilt newer, better and faster than the US with US money there is a real problem and the people are seing it now.

It's short sighted to think that money not sent to Ukraine will be spent on border control or welfare relief or addiction treatment.... if any US government had the slightest interest in doing any of that it would have already happened.

Ukraine funding, as an issue, is a distraction for low information voters like the wall on the border with Mexico which Trump never built...

Total funding for Ukraine is less than half of one percent of the US budget (about 0.3 percent IIRC). That money is not going to the border or to relieve misery or addiction.

What programs specifically werre cut to aid Ukraine?

The US has been on a path of planned, mass immiseration from Obama* thru Trump and to Biden (and whoever wins 2024). That is a completely separate issue from any aid given to Ukraine.

*the real beginning was when Obama decided to bail out Wall street rather than let people keep theirhouses, a real canary in the coalmine situaiton that most ignored....

Novi, after what I have seen this year in my US travels, more than ever before I believe the country is on the brink of societal collapse. Boston, the center of Kennedy like politcal hope in the country, is firmly turning away from Biden and embracing Kennedy Jr. Politcal signs for Kennedy were on so many lawns it was shocking to see this early in the cycle. Kennedy is another that would force an end to the war. Biden needs to go, and the Democrats are so corrupt they wont even allow Kennedy to be in the primaries. Look for him to run as an independent, and that will be the end of Biden for sure.

Ukraine supporters need to stop looking at this emotionally. The US citizens are "over it" and want no more of it. Eventually, US people get what they want. Especially when it comes to tax and spend, print more money and drive inflation higher democratic politics.

Ultimately I agree but good luck with that... how are the American people going to enforce their demands?

It is however, a very bad choice.... lots of countries see parts of neighboring countries and any country that gets away with chopping off sections of its neighbors sets a very, very, very bad precedent I'm not just talking about China (half of Latin American countries have this syndrome).

Ukraine has a corruption problem that it had been trying to deal with.... russia has a corruption problem that everybody is okay with.... that's the difference.

Its a worse choice to ignore the demands of the people who pay the taxes and who are responsible for the debt being created. Precendet or the setting of it is not the US job to to world wide. The US people are finally realizing this. I support the defeat of Russia, but not at the expense of the financial defeat and infrastructure destruction of the United States. If Ukraine lost it would be bad. If the United States is lost, it is a lot worse for the world. Remember, if not for the US raising the alarm on the invasion, or training Ukraine since 2014, Russia would have rolled all over Ukraine. So we are not talking about short term support, its nearly a decade of support.

The world needs a strong United States. I include Russia and China in that statement. Without the US, a global collapse would take about 90 days. Even Russia and China know this. So the US and Dems Fing around with all this spending is not in the worlds best interest.

China? Latin America? Let them sort themselves out. Again, not the US or EU problem to deal with. If the EU and US just took care of themselves, every one of those $hit hole countries would collapse on themselves, and then, people can go in and see if they want to join the modern world. The numbers of Ukrainian units and soldiers that are giving up is increasing daily, most of it happens at the lowest level because these people have had no effective training. They're not prepared for this and they're being sent to their deaths. This was in line with reports from American military personnel and Ukrainian servicemen who served on the frontlines and reported life expectancies at times measured in the hours due to the tremendous rates at which casualties were taken.
