Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 22

They already control the East side of Ukraine and next will be the south side.

Moscow is pushing into new territory in a region which has remained under Ukrainian control throughout the conflict.
Russian control of the Dnipropetrovsk region, just west of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia, would mean a threat to Kyiv from the southeast.

The North Nigerian Nazis have no possibility to advance on the south side - their army is hopeless, badly equipped and with poor discipline and vulnerable supply lines

The only people still prepared to work for Putler are the absolute wretched of the earth - from North Korea, Myanmar, Eritrea etc.

This story is just dismal.

Russia hired African farmers to make shampoo, then sent them to war
Desperate migrants lured to Moscow by fake job adverts
are used to bolster Putin's depleted invasion forces

Mr Onana is only one of what are estimated to be hundreds, or even thousands, of Africans who have found themselves fighting on the front lines.

Many more have been recruited into factories to keep the Kremlin's war machine running.

Africans and others from developing countries elsewhere are being pressed into service as Russia looks for huge numbers of recruits to sustain horrific casualty rates in its grinding three-year offensive

If only.

Trump is replaying the russian policy of every US president since Bush1 offering russia money for peace....

It's never worked.

It won't work because russia is not motivated by money or peace.

The brave Ukrainian special forces are at it again - this time attacking crappy NN Nazi fighter jets 400km inside North Nigeria

Well done to them - an example to the free world of how to stand up to bullies

This story is just dismal.

Not the most dismal at all... perfectly in tune with russian policy....

And most of Africa is solidly on russia's side.... FAFO

Desperate migrants

That phrase no longer works with me. Sorry.

jon357

That phrase no longer works with me. Sorry.

These are people with not enough food in places where people have to pay for medicine etc who applied for work abroad in a nasty place to send their wages back to their families.

No human has an unlimited supply of empathy or sympathy.... in the russo-Ukraine war, my sympathies are with Ukrainians withstanding russian aggression, not those who intended to support russia.

jon357

not those who intended to support russia.

These are people who've barely sat in a classroom and can't afford to support stuff. They went for crap jobs, not politics.

Oh my! How terrible!

Oh my! How terrible!

Heehee!

A 45-year old physicist, working at LockheedMartin, is responsible for designing a weapon that has already killed thousands and may yet one day kill many millions. His wife works as an accountant at the same company - tabulating the global sales for missiles and grenade launchers.

He makes a high six digit salary. Pays to put his daughter through college, and sets aside money so his high schooler son could attend soccer camp during the summers.

Once a year - he takes his family on a skiing trip to Utah.

He reads, on occasion, about how his weapon has killed this or that terrorist in some far away sh*thole - but doesn't actively seek these articles out.

He tells himself, "They had it coming...", as he finishes his coffee and pulls on his coat.

Oh my! How terrible!

Some people it's worth cutting a bit of slack for, some definitely not. People from crap places who sign up as migrant workers, basically giving up any sort of normal life in order to feed people back home, are worth some empathy.

I've worked with similar, at Exxon and elsewhere. Except they don't design stuff, just push pens and actually do very little. And do it badly. And they're usually pushing 70 and and still on $350,000, over double what I get for doing more work.

One day we'll all be replaced by either AI or bourgeois Indians. Or bourgeois Indian AIs.

And there'll still be people from the Philippines or from Romania or Algeria or Sudan who don't see their kids for 5 years that they work without a break, sleeping 6 to a nasty room with $30 a month to spend on themselves.

I rarely agree with you jon however you are spot on here.

basically giving up any sort of normal life in order to feed people back home, are worth some empathy.

I live in a high end resort area and see this every day.
Jamaican chefs and housekeepers, Mexican landscapers all being exploited by working 70 to 80 hours a week and living in rundown company housing with four people or more to a room.
Their employers get away with paying them a very low wage by claiming they are "seasonal" workers.
They get no healthcare or sick days or vacation pay or bonuses..(Zero benefits) but still have to pay income taxes.
Come Friday night they are lined up at Walmart sending their paychecks back home to pay for food and schooling for their families.
Think about it.

Meanwhile to get back On-Topic.
Our local newspaper today read: WARSAW, POLAND - Numerous individuals have been credited with coining the phrase, but I tend to believe the references that date back to the late Green Bay Packers coach Vince Lombardi, who famously once said, "Hope is not a strategy."
In his war against Ukraine, the simple hope that Russia can somehow prevail nonetheless seems to be the central tenet of President Vladimir Putin's plan for prevailing in the conflict.

Quoting German Intelligence:
"We are absolutely certain and have intelligence evidence: Ukraine is just one step. There are people in Moscow who no longer believe that NATO's Article 5 is effective. And they want to test it," the senior official stated.

I now that I wouldn't want to be living in the U.K. right now.

Ukraine is just one step.

They still haven't taken that first step. So what's there to talk about?

They did it once before.

Can Russian people have enough balls to rise against their government?I

Backwards... it's not "putin's war"... it's a war started to keep russian people happy.

And bye and large, russsians are passive and obedient vis a vis their government (unlike Poles and Ukrainians who have no problem getting in the government's face and telling them "NO!")

The term 'sheeple' really does apply in many ways.

Desperate migrants

If they illegally cross borders, there should be two submachine guns to give them a warm welcome.
----
lured to Moscow

I mean, if they don't know what Moscow is, that is their problem; they need to learn the hard way.

jon357
10 Jun 2025  #1011

If they illegally cross borders

Do try to keep up. Nobody has suggested they crossed any border illegally. You're obsessed with migration.

they need to learn the hard way.

They really don't...

there should be two submachine guns to give them a warm welcome.

You just became my most favorite poster, Iron...

I want one of those guns and a license to kill. After six dead migrants ... no migrants...and nobody dying flrm thirst in Arizona 120 degree heat...It's amazing how guns save lives...

You're obsessed with migration.

Obsessed???

Cali is over 50% Spics...and whites are leaving...Remember Rome and how it fell to the hordes?

Soon, Brits will be begging Russia for asylum.

Do try to keep up. Nobody has suggested they crossed any border illegally. You're obsessed with migration.

Now lets untwist that sentence, jon.
It is you who needs to keep up.
You are the only one here who thinks they did not cross the channel illegally to make them illegals, jon.
Now untwist your migrant definition.
A migrant is a person who comes to the first country that is safe from what they are fleeing from.
An Illegal is a migrant that keeps on going to the next country after the first safe one.
So these migrants that are coming from France are migrants but once they cross that channel into the U.K. they become illegals.
Ya trackin' with International Law now old boy ?

jon357

You are the only one here who thinks they did not cross the channel illegally

Try reading what you're commenting on.

The people in question did not cross any 'channel', nor did they enter r*SSia illegally.

johnny reb

The people in question

Nobody has suggested they crossed any border illegally.

Focus on YOUR words "ANY BORDER", Mr. Twister.
As long as you understand the difference between an illegal and a migrant then I made my point.

jon357

ANY BORDER

Which border did the people in question cross illegally then?

Are we still taking about the African shampoo factory guys ?

Well I suppose they illegally crossed into Ukraine - just like the NN army

jon357

Are we still taking about the African shampoo factory guys ?

Apparently we are.

A couple of people who have a thing about immigration got the wrong end of the stick.

Meanwhile, the EU are about to roll out new sanctions, including the G7 price cap on Russian oil from $60 to $45 per barrel and tightening measures against the country's "shadow fleet.".

A couple of people who have a thing about immigration got the wrong end of the stick.

Hey, jonny, you can pretend you are stupid with your loved ones.

Here, you are dealing with people who love you less and are a lot smarter than you, so pay attention...

We have no problem with IMMMIGRATION. We have a problem with ILLEGAL ALIENS.

Immigrant - a person who crossed the border AFTER he was approved as being worthy of this priviladge AND is likely to benefit the citizens of the host country.

I was an immigrant - the best the US ever allowed in other than Musk.

cms neuf
10 Jun 2025  #1020

We are talking here about Africans - legal migrants to North Nigeria

They were duped into thinking they were working in a shampoo factory.

In fact they were sent to work in a meat grinding factory just outside Pokrovsk, to die for Putler in a war they had probably never heard of.

So for once you got your wish - immediate death for migrants
