Putin will be an idiot if he agrees to any NATO member in Ukraine.

Watching the Democrats melt down over his wins is priceless. Even Crooked Hillary said she'd nominate him for a Nobel if he stop the war-like she has any say in anything. She's irrelevant, powerless, and just a bitter gas bag.

Poland's absence from the White House talks about Ukraine draws my attention. Does it mean that no one wants to talk to Poland, neither the USA nor Ukraine, nor Russia or the rest of Europe? So we can finally rest. 🏝

I believe Poland was invited, but there were conflicts in schedules. The President got the invite, not Tusk.

No matter what Trump does to end this war, none of the leftists here will ever give him credit for it. He has done more in eight months than Europe, or Biden did in three years. The US protecting Ukraine is the biggest win Ukraine could have received. NATO was never on the table realistically. If this war ends soon, with the US protection, you can bet that rebuilding Ukraine will happen quickly. And oh by the way, Trump would be totaly fvcking the big banks who bet on rebuilding the Donbas and other areas. Those early agreements with the banks become all but worthless. But of course no one wants to talk about how Trump actually wants peace, and is making it happen in a way not seen since WW2.

Poland is in a weird position...

Germany has a president and a chancellor and the chancellor is the policy making position so the chancellor gets invited.

France has a president and a prime minister but the president is the policy making position so the president is invited.

Poland has a president and a prime minister and the prime minister is the policy making position so theoretically he should be invited.

On the other hand Tusk has EU connections and an experience politician (whether you like him or not) and Trump prefers those who are either big men authoritarian types (putin, orban) or gullible types who will feed his ego (like Duda).

Nawrocki (whether you like him or not) is neither an experienced politician nor self-effacing and I could easily see him getting on Trump's nerves.

My new prediction (possible solution): The split German model.

Downsides: This will only work with NATO/US troops on the border to prevent russian incursions (because only the credible threat of immediate military force will keep russia out) and will be followed by russian style forced population transfers to try to russify the new and ever impoverished russian controlled part.
