that is not normal as being conservative/rightist is a totally acceptable political leaning.
You can be as conservative as you want to be. But if you start decrying our democratically elected government as dictators, follow crazy conspiracy theories, and believe that being descendant from Gastarbeiter makes one an inferior German, and try to downplay German's atrocities during WWII, you are out of the spectrum. That is just common sense.
here is also nowhere a majority for the Greens or the Linke, they are still everywhere in the coalitions
What do you mean with this? Coalition governments are the rule in Germany, so that is hardly surprising. Besides, there is a majority for it in Berlin (the city), though unfortunately the mess they make there does not seem to discourage too many left-leaning voters elsewhere.
crazy coalitions with political adversaries, only to keep the AfD out.
Naturally the options for the democratic parties are limited when people vote almost 50% for the two populistic parties AfD and the Linke. Since a coalition with the AfD is utterly impossible (both for moral and pragmatic reasons), the parties have to work hard in order to form government. It is easy to simply oppose everything like the AfD does, doing productive governmental work however is more difficult. It's not a political topic.
