European News and Poland Thread 2

you are stuck up smart ass that is not so smart but still stuck up!

Sorry, sorry, but your language has now been sent to such an advanced level that I am no longer able to decrypt it.

So you think that the second guy to the right in the picture isn't like Hermann Goering at all?

My only complex towards pawian is that he is an embarrassment as a clown.

How about criticizing him in his presence?

Why is European News and Poland Thread put on the front page and U.S. News in Poland Thread put on the back page and blocked out to non-members for reading ?

U.S. News is twenty times more popular and interesting as it is going on Thread 5 already.
The U.S Thread and Poland has over 10,167 posts in it while the European and Poland Thread only has 596 threads in it.
How will the Polish people learn about what is really going on in the U.S. if we are blocked out like we are on the bias drive by Liberal media's like CNN, NBC, ABC and CBS ?

I'm sure that the Polish Forums would not want to be labeled as being BIAS.

Why is European News and Poland Thread put on the front page

I guess geography is not your strong point..... Poland is in Europe...

How will the Polish people learn about what is really going on in the U.S.

Almost no Polish people read this... if you want Polish people to know what's going on in the US, then learn Polish and start posting on Polish sites...

No different to Communists being employed by IPN during PO days..

Do'did they employ Communists?

Should all homosexuals' loose their jobs if employed in any capacity around children?

What a silly thing to say.

The second guy to the right in the picture reminds me of Herman Goering in his younger days ...

The one on the left looks like a fatter Himmler.

Amazing to see people defending individuals who do Hitler salutes in Poland.

@mafketis
I guess world news is not your strong point

Almost no Polish people read this...

Almost no Polish people read the European thread either so what's your point.
Since the U.S. thread has 20:1 ratio over the European thread blows your opinion out of the water.
Mine is that for those who do should be able to afford the same privilege reading the un-bias U.S. news.

.. if you want Polish people to know what's going on in the US,

I do and many Polish people here are surprised to learn what the U.S. drive by medias suppress.
You seem to enjoy posting in OUR thread so obviously you are one of them who read it.

Poland is in Europe...

It does make a difference. Very very little of the stuff in the US thread relates to Poland at all, hence it being off topic. Things in the European News and Poland thread usually do.

Though much of the discussion right now is trying to drive the thread away from the news about the IPN and Hitler salutes.

Gay men can be with boys as easily as hetero men with girls.

Exactly. If homosexuals were for some reason prevented from working with minors, there's be no girls' gym lessons. Ever.

Things in the European News and Poland thread usually do.

'Usually' is the key word there.
Usually the U.S. thread relates to the U.S. news too unless you trolls desperately post off-topic to intentionally get it closed.
Go look and you will see how obvious that has been.
As you are another frequent poster in the U.S. thread.

Many of which are very forthright indeed.

You are being very hypocritical as most of your post in the U.S. thread are anything but forthright indeed.
Go look for yourself.

they would eat him alive.... Polish comment sections are not for those with weak nerves....

they would eat him alive.

In one gulp.

I see some of the threads on Polish language pages about other countries. Way stronger than here, and without juvenile local faschos determined to defend their country from differing opinion.

Back on topic which was.......since the U.S. News is way more popular than the European News is then it should be allowed on the front page too or at the least, unblock it from public viewing for non members that may choose to read it.

Communism is over.
And remember, the biggest population of Polish people outside of Warsaw live in Chicago U.S.A. so U.S. news does concern them.

The Czech Republic is suing Poland!

It's about a lignite mine on the border. There are serious environmental considerations, as well as issues about local employment. It seems teh Czechs are taking this seriously.

Thats because of you and your libtard friends with TDS are always trashing it. Youre the biggest hypocrite and troll on this forum. Why dont you do everyone a favor and take a break for once. All day and all night, day after day, year after year of the same BS over and over.

really? I thought there were more Mexicans now.... and the ;Poles' are mostly pol-ams who are very different from real Polish people.

I'd say in England...

I have been studying this Pol Am phenomena for over 30 years.... Pol Ams are not Poles at all.
Brit Poles are closer to Poles than they are by miles.

Hispanics are definitely the largest group in Chicago... but out of Europeans yes definitely the Poles. However, those numbers have been decreasing rapidly since around 2004/2005 when the amount of Poles coming in went down to a trickle and even then the new ones seemed to be going more towards New York than Chicago. All the old Polish neighborhoods are basically gone. When I was a teenager every other store on Belmont ave had signs in Polish. Now they've moved, closed down, or now cater to the increasing Hispanic population. There's still some Poles left in the old areas but it's mainly the old generations who never moved out and those who couldn't afford or weren't able to move to the suburbs or another state. Lots of Poles have moved from Chicago to places like Wisconsin, Indiana, Florida, Arizona, Georgia, etc. where they don't have to deal with the ridiculous taxes here and low quality of living in general. A lot have also moved back to Poland.

Miloslaw

A lot have also moved back to Poland

A sad state of affairs if many Poles see life in Poland as preferable to the USA.

Life in Poland and parts of Europe is much better than the USA

johnny reb
24 Feb 2021  #381

Are you insinuating that Poland is less desirable/inferior to the U.S ?
A lot of Polish came to the United States to work twenty years to get enough quarters in to draw a Social Security check every month the rest of their life.

Once they accomplish that they go back to Poland and live very well.

Brit Poles are closer to Poles than they are by miles.

I couldn't say that because I have never been to Britain as your opinion holds the same amount of water.

Miloslaw

Agreed.
But why do so many Polish American posters on here disagree wirh you?
What are they scared of?

But why do so many Polish American posters on here disagree wirh you?

Many British would also disagree that life in Poland is better than Britain, as JR said many Poles also work in Britain for twenty years and return to Poland with a pot of pounds and pension, they live a happy peaceful retirement'

jon357
24 Feb 2021  #384

What are they scared of?

Admitting that their forebears made a long and daring journey, never to return to their homeland and for what they hoped was a better life, just to end up with their descendants in a worse position than if they'd stayed, ending up in tar paper shacks or washing windows.

better

Better is a subjective word. Unless things are materially or socially bad, what's better for one isn't better for the other.

Miloslaw
24 Feb 2021  #385

Are you insinuating that Poland is less desirable/inferior to the U.S ?

Not at all, quite the opposite.
If I had to chose between living in the USA or Poland.
Poland would win hands down!!

I couldn't say that because I have never been to Britain

But I have been to America. And TBH I mainly loved it.
Boston was great, Dallas not so great......

Poles also work in Britain for twenty years and return to Poland

Because life is beter there.....and it is home and where their family live.

Yeah same - 9 out of 10 times... but if it was like some wioska near the Belarus border versus like Honolulu or some nice place in the far northeast (i.e. Maine or Vermont which have an over 94% non-Hispanic white population) I'd choose the USA.

jon357
24 Feb 2021  #387

Because life is better there

Depends on what you want. Many never return because their kids are British and their comfortable life in the suburbs is too stable to disrupt.

Boston was great, Dallas not so great.

I liked New York, however the other places I've been were nothing special.

Pol Ams are not Poles at all.

Because Pol Ams changed countries. Poles in the UK changed jobs. A gigantic difference.
Analyzing the US vs Poland is like comparing your first love with your wife in pounds and inches. Disgusting.

jon357
24 Feb 2021  #389

Because Pol Ams changed countries. Poles in the UK changed jobs.

Depends on the specific wave of migration and individual families' degree of assimilation.

Yep that what I meant. you are a pompous petty p(..)k!
Other than that I explained what kind of issue I have with you and pawian. If you don' understand or don't believe me that is your problem.

You are pseudo-elite i.e. post-soviet intelligentsia that supposed to form the Polish elite and yet their are not do it. Pry tell me what they call that substance that comes to the forth but it is not smietanka? Szumowiny?
