Brate I urge on your basic honesty. Among other countries, Yugoslavia, Serbia were invaded by NATO in 1999. Solely this fact is enough to give Russia legitimacy to repel the NATO.

Want me to go into fact that Vatican using NATO against Serbs, as before that used Third reich? We Serbs called other Slavs for help and Russia responded. That is one aspect of less known Russia`s reasons to repel NATO.

While I would agree that Ukraine should give up Crimea, I would not agree to any other territory. I think Putin would actually go for that if Ukraine offered that and to remain neutral. Anything else though is a non starter. Russia is in deep trouble economically now. Indexes used to rate countries livability and standards are not painting a good picture for Russia. 50% of the government revenue is from oil and gas, and no matter how much China can buy, they cant make up for the entire EU. Revenues down, vital war machine resources almost completely depleted, and western goods are gone. By September at the latest, things will be pretty bad. By winter, things will be dire for Russia and Ukraine.

Meanwhile more MLRS got to Ukraine this weekend, and 4 more from US and 4 from England are on the way. Giving Ukraine 16 and a whole lot of missiles to fire from them. A gas station inside Russia just blew up too. Funny how many things are blowing up and catching on fire in Russia these days.

Poland though has more US military spending $$$ on weekend passes all over the country. Not bad for the economy at all.

Frustration of Russian public by the fact that Russia failed to support defense of Serbs is enormous. Many says that this failure directly encouraged NATO and EU to continue deeper penetration onto Slavic lands. So this conflict in Ukraine for Russian public has deep religious and slavophil dimension. But its also much much bigger then Putin and Ukraine. If NATO leading countries ignore this, they will face nuclear obliteration. Yes, literally. And no, don`t think USA will risk end of the world after few nukes fall on European NATO Capitals. It won`t. NATO war with Russia is one thing and USA war with Russia is completely different thing.

I understand its a burden, but there is some negotiating that could be done. River access in return for other Ukraine land no longer being occupied. The problem with negotiations at this point IMO is that Putin already recognized these two BS republics. I don't see him walking that back because it would be an admission of defeat. So, where do negotiations begin?
