Must be comforting for you to know there are a few other nutters out there. Meanwhile the majority of the British people mourn the Queen's passing.

a few other nutters out there

Some of them perhaps even read the links they post unlike the troll who doesn't have a Telegraph subscription yet posts rubbish on the basis of headlines he can only partially understand if he puts them through Google translate.

Meanwhile the majority of the British people mourn the Queen's passing.

Some very touching tributes from round the world.

Finally. When western Europe goes down, Poland goes up.

Who will inherit the Queen's jewels, tiaras, and brooches, all worth millions ?

Who normally inherits a lady's jewellery?

What a stupid question.

Camilla, Queen Consort.

Some. A lot of it, especially tiaras and the best stuff is passed around the family at the head of the family's decision.

Perhaps he's confusing their personal property with the Crown Jewels which belong to the office not its holder.

Depends on what jewels you're talking about. The Crown Jewels and certain pieces belong to the nation, not to one individual. They can't be sold or otherwise disposed of. So nobody inherits them. Other personal items will follow a tradition/protocol in who will continue to wear them. You can be sure Meghan won't be getting anything much!

How about they return what they stolen from rest of the world?

Other personal items

Tiaras (which of course aren't worn much) tend to stay as shared family items among those very few families that have a use for them.

That's right. And there's a fairly strict protocol in the Royal family as to who wears what. That was one of the issues with Meghan who thought that she could 'choose' the one she wanted for her wedding.

Interesting, the Queens coffin was transported in a german Mercedes....nice touch and I'm not complaining...but why? All other cars had been of course british cars....

Also only biden and his wife were invited with no delegates to come with them from the U.S.A.
I thought that was a nice extra touch of class.

Its only fitting as she has German hereditary.

The House of Windsor is really the House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.

"George V issued a proclamation to announce that henceforth all male descendants of Queen Victoria were to be known by the new surname of "Windsor". George's cousin, the German Kaiser."

That's why they chose a Mercedes???

chose a Mercedes???

For some reason my reply went to random, for no obvious reason.

But to reiterate, the reason they chose that particular hearse for the part of the cortège that's in Scotland is because it has very large windows and the coffin is therefore more visible.

In London they may use the same type or another depending on what the undertaker has.

Charles is too old and should have stepped aside for his son, the bald one not the dumb red headed stepchild.

I tried to watch tv yesterday and they had nothing but this boring Queen nonsense on all day. I cant understand bc not many ppl over here give a rat ass about elitist Royals and they still shove this crap down our throats.

Charles is too old and should have stepped aside

Why? I've head that he's actually been doing almost all the work for a few years now... he deserves some time on the thrown and his son should settle down a bit more before he's fed into the grinder....

I feel sorry for him as the carrot has been dangling for quite some time now.

the dumb red headed stepchild.

Yeah but at least he and his money grubber wife would have put some humor into the stiff lipped family for some entertainment for a change.

All that will be in the news about old Charley is his erectile dysfunction and leaky faucet until his first stroke happens.

It's because it's a very significant moment in world history. The world is not just America you know. The death of the Queen truly marks the end of an era in modern history.

johnny reb

And exactly what did the Queens job do to make history in this era ?
What was the old girls job anyways besides smile and wear a new dress every day.

Sorry to seem so bitter but when she didn't invite Trump to her funeral, I lost all respect after how kind he had been to her.

I've head that he's actually been doing almost all the work for a few years now

He's been doing a lot over the decades; a very special person about whom there are a lot of misconceptions. One of those people who've been mocked in the media yet consistently proven right.

she didn't invite

They didn't invite any former heads of state. Hollande, Sarkozy, Merkel and King Juan Carlos etc aren't invited either.

From abroad, it's only current heads of state, relatives, and personal friends.

....no invitations for has-beens....no Merkel either....and she was another she-boss for 16 years and they met more than once!

King Juan Carlos

Was he really head of state?

What about Margarethe from Denmark? Weren't they related somehow?

jon357

Was he really head of state?

They don't have one as such in the same way as the UK, US or Poland (theirs is an unusual model of government) however their King is a constitutional monarch with a ceremonial role.

Weren't they related somehow?

His wife is I think Danish however as far as I know they aren't close relatives..
