Don't scare them with numbers and facts.

I asked for numbers and facts and you disappeared. So, here is your chance to give us those scary numbers and facts:
1. How many illegals would be too many in your opinion?
2. How would you stop them from coming? You can skip this one if the answer to (1) is infinity or the equivalent.

Facts???? Go clean up your typhoid ridden streets

I would suggest you read Pawian's post #3,239 again. That's the one I was referring to, so I don't know why you are bringing up San Francisco again where you haven't visited in decades. Comment on Pawian's post, please.

Here's something for you. No news source because you don't believe the media (or me), but reviews by members of Tripadvisor.

I asked for numbers and facts and you disappeared.

Where and when? I'm not spending every waking minute here like certain other people, and posts in Random quickly move several pages.

Look at them and tell me coz I don`t know

First, Salon is a leftist source where hating Trumps is what they do all day long.. Secondly, read Pages 13 through 17 of the proposed budget to get the feel for what the US federal government really is - a cesspool of parasites wallowing in and spending money like lunatics.

whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/budget_fy21.pdf

This is just a sample:

According to data from the nonprofit group,
Open the Books, of the $97 billion spent by 67
Federal agencies in a "Use It or Lose It" spending
spree in the final two days of 2018, expenditures
included:
· china tableware ($53,004);
· alcohol ($308,994);
· golf carts ($673,471);
· musical equipment, including pianos, tubas, and trombones ($1.7 million);
· lobster tails and crab ($4.6 million); and
· workout and recreation equipment ($9.8million).

So, right there we can cut almost 100 billion bucks, but I guarantee you that Salon will not report it as a good thing.

Pawian, here is more data and the proof that Trump haters always lie. Every single day. The numbers below are the projected expenditures in billions per year starting with 2019 through 2024

Social Security 1,038 1,092 1,151 1,217 1,287 1,362
Medicare 644 694 746 828 847 864
Medicaid 409 447 452 474 502 526

Find me those scary "cuts".

Not a planet I'd want to be on, buddy boy!!

People are simply enamored of Trump because he puts on a good Stock Market. As soon as the Markets go sour,
Trump's appeal will wane, you wait and see.

The average American couldn't give a hoot 'n holler about human rights, fairness, welfare for all, any of that stuff.
If their checks keep a-comin' in nice and steady 'cuz the Exchange is booming, their boy can do no wrong:-)

My feelings are deeply hurt considering the effort I put into reading the proposed 2021 budget and posting the relevant numbers in #3246. It took my almost five minutes I will never get back. Instead, I get insults. So, back to morons and as*holes. It takes less time and is more fun.

Rich, that is pure genius !

As soon as the Markets go sour,Trump's appeal will wane, you wait and see.

The stock market always does good in an election year Lyzko no matter who the president is........well except for obummer that is.
You are just one of those guys no matter what Trump does you will find fault.
Trump could find a for cure cancer and you would find fault because it left a rash.
So I see the Bern is leading in the polls.
Do you think he is more competent than Trump is to run this country ?

It's another version of Jesse can't swim.

Do you think he is more competent than Trump is to run this country ?

Yes. To run the country Bernie's way all you need is lots of high-speed printing presses. Me - a genius again.

Michael Savage might concur with you, Johnny.
On the other hand, it's primarily the South which hurts more than the rest of America, yet continues to shoot herself in the foot and re-elect a man who's very demeanor disrespects the Office he claims to represent!

A US-President is a composite image, folks. Because someone puts on a good Stock Market but acts like a son of a ***** both public and private, showing no remorse or the ability to admit to error, that's no reason to keep them in office.

At least his predecessor tried to give the impression of setting a moral tone for the country, even though none held a candle to Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Speaking of Jesse or should we say that French actor Jussie Smolliett will be heading back to court to face charges in Chicago. Yay!

but acts like a son of a ***** both public and private,

You give Trump haters bad name with your shallowness - just like in the comedy known as "impeachment".
BTW, I did read the House Resolution 755 and it didn't mention one crime. Not even one.
This means that Trump was not impeached and Dershowitz was right to say it.

both public and private,

I didn't know you two were friends.

Find me those scary "cuts".

I don`t know if they are scary, I just want to find it out how much an average American, including Am guys in the PF, will be affected.

But when I compare data from the previous budget plan made by Obama administration, I can see a difference. E.g, Medicare

obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/sites/default/files/omb/budget/fy2017/assets/tables.pdf

Medicare 644 694 746 828 847 864

Obama`s Medicare for 2019-2024
674 725 781 879 912 936

Trump proposes to spend 4623.

Obama - 4907.

So there are cuts. How scary - tell me.

Why am I asking at all? I remember our discussions last year, all American guys complained about their costs of medical care, which were killing them.

Pawian, here is more data and the proof that Trump haters always lie.

Can you tell me that Salon, NYT, WashingtonP, Forbes, ABC News, etc lie about those numbers? Because all these and other media mention cuts to medical care.

Even Am Catholics do:
americamagazine.org/politics-society/2020/02/11/catholic-health-professionals-criticize-trumps-2021-proposed-budget

In response to the proposed $1 trillion in cuts to health care spending, the Catholic Health Association announced it was "deeply disappointed" in the budget. "CHA believes that our nation's spending priorities should reflect our moral commitment to assisting the least among us," said the group in a statement released on Feb. 10. "For millions of Americans, who rely on Medicaid and other health care programs, as well as housing and nutrition programs that promote healthier lives, cuts to these programs will have devastating consequences.

Are they liars too??

pawian
12 Feb 2020  #3256

including Am guys in the PF, will be affected.

Sorry, as we know Trump`s budget will be rejected by the Congress, we should be more hypothetical:
........including Am guys in the PF, would be affected if the budget was adopted and implemented.

Medicare 644 694 746 828 847 864

What else can I say? Those numbers are from the WH proposal. In billions.

Trump proposes to spend 4623.

The US does not have 4623 billions to spend on anything. Where did that number come from?

Quoting from your source:

In announcing the proposed budget at the White House, Mr. Trump denied slashing health care. "We're not decreasing Medicaid but we're doing a lot of things that are very good, including [addressing] waste and fraud," he said.

To these leftist idiots, cutting waste and fraud is cruel. Remember, they want Medicare for every scum on earth, too.

pawian

The US does not have 4623 billions to spend on anything. Where did that number come from?

Hmm, I added the spendings from the years 2019-2024. Was I wrong? Correct me, please.

To me, Obama`s budget for Medicare was higher by nearly 300 billion over 2019 -2024.

In announcing the proposed budget at the White House, Mr. Trump denied slashing health care.

But they only quoted Mr Trump who said so. It doesn`t mean it it true. When they quote Trump saying: I am the King! will it be true, too? haha

Remember, they want Medicare for every scum on earth, too.

I see. So average Americans won`t be affected, only immigrants?

The cuts in detail again:
polishforums.com/off-topic/poland-usa-news-part-85058/108/#msg1724420

E.g, food stamps cuts for 180 billion.

It refers to poor Americans, so you don`t care.

Rich Mazur
12 Feb 2020  #3259

It's getting deeper than this forum can tolerate or anyone is willing to read. So, let me close with just one example that does not even include fraud and waste, which, btw, is enormous.

When drugs are sold in the US at the rip-off prices and then a new law makes it harder or when the healthcare providers are forced to be more transparent with their pricing, this leads to a cost reduction.

The US hospitals refuse to tell us how much their services will cost in advance. For example, one will charge 50 for a blood test and another 2000 for the same test. Trump put a stop to it and, starting in November, they will be forced to publish their prices. This will lead to more competition and lower prices. It always does.

Bottom line: not every cost reduction kills old grandmas. The devil is in the details which the industry and the for-hire who*res love to keep from you.

Final thought: Did you notice how that Catholic Health Association didn't mention the fascists' Medicare for the world crap, which would decimate the US healthcare system in no time. I went to their website. Not a word.

After overdosing on the anti-Trump crap here, I just watched his speech in New Hampshire so I am back to my normal feeling good.
The problem with the anti-Trump a-holes is that they affirmatively refuse to hear the man as a matter of survival in their echo chamber.

Damn it to hell Pawian, why don't you people F-ing listen ?????
It's not the "poor people" that will be effected.
It will be the people who have money to buy lotto tickets, beer, cigarettes, get their hair done in a shop, have cable t.v., high speed internet, eat out at a restaurant three times a week, have an $800 I-phone are the ones that Trump is cutting off food stamps.

Healthy able bodied people that are milking the system.
The same ones that buy prime rib eye steaks, lobster, and junk foods with their food stamps.
Poor people buy a bag of potato's, butter, flour, milk, raw green beans, and the staples with their food stamps.

There......Did you get it that time ?
Plus ever church in the area has a food pantry that poor people can go get a box of food for free.
A lot of poor people go to a different church every night of the week to get boxes of free food.
Plus there are Manna Projects that give out boxes of free food right off their trucks.
Don't be listening to these lying bleeding heart Liberals here.
For the last time.........Ain't nobody starving in the U.S.A. Pawian.

Those who are starving - like me - are starving because they are trying to lose weight.

It's good to always feel a little hungry.
Just remember Rich, no sugar, wheat, potato's, pasta, liquid calories or fried foods. :-(
Then go for an hour walk in the Mall checking out the hard tummies and tight butts for incentive. :-)

13 Feb 2020  #3266

Poor Americans? There's more cash being made everyday in the shittiest neighborhoods in the US than the white suburbs.

The US hospitals refuse to tell us how much their services will cost in advance.

Or you can just say "send the bill to my house" with a bogus address and never pay it.... they can't refuse you service in the future over unpaid bills nor will they issue a judgement/garnishments over unpaid medical bills.

No, I didn`t peruse their website in such a detail. :)

Bottom line: not every cost reduction kills old grandmas.

I see.

It will be the people who have money to buy lotto tickets, beer, cigarettes, get their hair done in a shop, have cable t.v., high

Now I see. So Trump wants to stop food stamps to people who abuse the system.

I read everything about food stamps and found this about the abuse: periodic analyses to estimate the extent of trafficking in SNAP; that is, selling or otherwise converting SNAP benefits for cash payouts. Both parties are involved: stamp holders and stores. But it sounds mysterious to me. Namelyt, what is food stamp trafficking?

Tell me if I understand correctly. Someone brings a food stamp worth 5$ and a corrupt grocer takes it but doesn`t sell food worth 5$, only pays the customer 2.5$. Yes?

For the last time.........Ain't nobody starving in the U.S.A. Pawian.

Hmm, it wasn`t my intention to question your statement, but the link to Hunger in the USA is in the Food Stamp wiki entry.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supplemental_Nutrition_Assistance_Program

I looked through it and found this:

Research by the USDA found that 11.1% of American households were food insecure during at least some of 2018, with 4.3% suffering from "very low food security".[3]

In 2019, over 12.5 million children, and 40% of US undergraduate students experienced food insecurity.[4][5]

Certainly, food insecurity isn`t starving like in Africa. But how serious is it?
