I had two SIMs from taiwanese FarEasTone that just been disconnected after nominal non-usage period. Looks like some taiwanese couple died from Coronavirus, and not reflected in official statistics. ;)

And well, there was a lots of "talk to zero balance and throw away" SIMs circulated here, in Russia, before stricter rules was enforced after numerous acts of "telephone terror". Usually, startup balance is partially sponsored by operators to attract new users (that in this time already users of another operator). ;) I can suspect that this 25 millions of SIMs was the same "one use" cards that was constantly "rotated" while there was business activity, and now simply outdate without replacement as there was no need to call as much for some time.


Will US corporations hire back retired machinists to service and operate production equipment? Maybe even complete production lines from chinese factories will be bought and moved to USA for local production?

Why on earth would that be in the least bit of interest to a Russian ?

America, weak and immoral as it may seem, is very far from collapsing, my friend. It has a lot of internal strength which she owes to diversity and democracy. It will certainly recover one day, though not necessarily under Donald Trump, I think.

From overseas, I see at least four different Americas. First one is a horde of emissars from some middle east country and their shabes goys that looking like can of worms (and brothel), but have real power. Second one is lots of decent hard working people, who support first "group" by taxes and strongly deluded that they is the source of their power. Third one is lots of parasites who sell their votes for bread and circuses and being used as insurance that second group will be never able to get rid of first one. And fourth is a people who doesn't care about that land at all, deal with it as with place to make some money, and keep with second group, while looking how to join third one.

Which one of the four will recover? For now I see attempts to recover the power and reputation of first group, while second one together with some overseas not-so-voluntary "sponsors" will be forced to pay for this (at least they will try really hard).

BTW, just seen in the news. They will "print" $2.3 TRILLION extra, effectively stealing some value from any of previously issued USD-nominated papers.
