I'm almost certain that what will happen in the short term will be a string of scandals being revealed in the press, while Trump will be facing monumental tax bills and loan payments. He's still got that huge audit hanging over him, and given what we know now, there may well be much more waiting to come out.

It's very obvious to me that the Republicans want him gone from the public eye ASAP, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's already had a few frank discussions about how he can stay out of the public eye in exchange for his children's freedom.

the us isn't just becoming police state, guys like me knew it was for a while. What's really rich is if someone commits a crime against you in the US the cops can overlook it if they are a food ole boy or grew up with them or a local in that town while you moved there just a few yrs ago. It's just to their convenience. The last time I was in jail fighting a gypsy who attacked me and even sent out his kids to try to paint me as some nazi or racist just send them out to spread rumours (you don't believe me look up a video his son posted on youtube under the name skylar or skyler luciano of that guy or their dad basically running to a tree from cops in Hawaii while the kids are trained to act and cry the whole time) they took me to maximum security over a trumped up charge "vehicular manslaughter" which I didn't do and this was during me fighting the assault case. They didn't even magistrate me over it but the cops showed me on the computer that that's why I'm being moved to maximum security, they dropped it real quick when my attorney came and spoke to me.
