In the US, mens rooms are usually sterile and functional, non-public womens rooms (in offices*) tend to be much more elaborate and comfortable, though public womens restrooms (as in shopping malls) are apparently really disgusting as many women don't want to touch the toilet.... (so I've heard I haven't spent time hanging out in them or anything)

*when I worked in an office we sometimes had to move furniture, including in and out of the ladies room which was far nicer than the mens room with a couch area even...

That's the last thing the world needs. Everytime the US intervenes to "export democracy" or "protect the locals" things end up far, far worse for the locals - Iraq, Libya, Ukraine, Syria, Kosovo, Guatemala, Panama, Afghanistan, Chad, Vietnam, Haiti, Dominican Republic... I mean the list is endless... I can't think of a single country where the citizens were genuinely better off after the US intervened, except for perhaps Israel.
