If so, please tell me what they did that was "Good".
Here is an example that may look "Good" but in reality turned out to be BAD for the whole humankind in a long term.
On September 1, 1775, King George III of England sent a personal message to Catherine II. Playing on the empress's monarchical feelings, the king in lofty terms agreed to "accept", but essentially asked Russian soldiers "to suppress the uprising in the American colonies". The British envoy in St. Petersburg was given detailed instructions to get the 30000th corps sent and a draft of the corresponding agreement was sent.
"We are quite happy to learn from a reliable source," wrote Washington to Lafayette in the spring of 1779, "that the requests and proposals of Great Britain to the Russian empress were rejected with contempt." On another occasion, noting the decisive refusal of Catherine II to conclude any treaty of mutual assistance with England, George Washington emphasized that the Russian government motivated its position in expressions bearing the imprint of "respect for the rights of mankind."
And in 1780, Russia officially declared armed neutrality, which facilitated the conduct of maritime trade during the hostilities on the American continent. When other states joined this neutrality, a league of neutrality emerged. The States viewed the league as a direct ally.
BTW: Since then, relations between Russia and Britain never been really good anymore.
