BTW, you could send money
I wrote that I doubt I could do much, not nothing. I don't see how money would change anything there though (especially that I'm not a billionare, so I wouldn't be able to send much). The US pumped a lot of money into Afghanistan and to no avail... I'm afraid money doesn't change culture and society's mindset. If it did, Saudi Arabia would be a completely different country.
or go there to advocate for women's rights.
Whatever for? So you could use me as another example of a "woman-moron"?
No, because who is protesting what does not matter enough to me to make the effort.
You cared enough to claim that what the Taliban are doing is "patriotism at the very best". So, my guess is that you simply don't know what to answer and so you're bullsh1ting :)
In plain English, they can all die and my life would actually improve.
You know, if you died (preferably from Covid-19 lol) my life would improve too - I wouldn't have to see your comments on PF anymore :)
99% of muslims polled in Afghanistan want sharia to be the law of the land:
That post is from 2013 - nothing changed since that time? I wonder if women were polled...
@Novichok, I don't think I have to be explained this in finer detail considering that I wrote something similar here:

What I have a problem with is your claim that "the Taliban is a defender of Afghanistan" and that the government in Kabul are traitors (to the US) in the eyes of the Afghan people. So far I haven't seen proof of that. I'll show you a simple comparison.
That was Baghdad during US troops withdrawal from Iraq:
"Fireworks over Baghdad as U.S. troops leave":

And this is Afghanistan now:
"Anti-Taliban protests spread across Afghanistan cities":

So, why aren't regular people in Afghanistan celebrating, but, instead, protesting against the Taliban or throwing themselves at planes at the Kabul airport?
Am I missing something here? Are there any reports about ordinary people celebrating the Taliban take over, cheering the Taliban fighters, etc? Any photos, videos?
