Again you show you dont understand how things work in the US. There is no treaty on the name of the gulf. The US can rename it what ever they want, and the rest of the world can call it what ever they want. The blockade of drilling that Biden has put in place specifically names the Gulf of Mexico. If it is recognized as the Gulf of America in the United States, then the Biden blockade cannot be enforced. Because you dont obviously understand just how much of the gulf that the US controls under maritime law and territorial border laws, you can look here ncei.noaa.gov/maps/gulf-data-atlas/atlas.htm?plate=Marine%20Jurisdictions It is completely within the US rights to rename its portion, approximately half of the entire gulf.

There's no reason the BBC shouldn't do that (since nobody else does) and I'd guess it's about 25% or more in theatre anyway.

A quick look online shows that their target is a notional box-ticking one of 10% which is actually lower than the current figure of around 12% there already.

If some people get triggered by that, they would have a great deal more to complain about if people who are LGBT withdrew their/our labour and didn't work in the entertainment and arts field at all.
