2016 Presidential Elections in the US

The Donald himself decided while in Scotland to weigh into this contentious issue, I simply decided to "weigh" back:-)

Do you HONESTLY think you can weigh in with the Donald do you. lol
Furthermore, the Brexit and the US election are linked

REALLY, I had no idea, please fill us in on that.
Are you saying that the Brexit made Trump a shoe in ?

Lyzko
28 Jun 2016  #2012

No, but I am saying that the same sort of benighted ignorance and provincialism certainly pushed merry ol' England over the top and could have emboldened Trump to further heights of foolhardiness, yes, it is possible!

Furthermore, what I have to say is as valid in any arena of intelligent fellow human beings:-)

what I have to say is as valid in any arena of intelligent fellow human beings:

Funny how one looks at themselves Lyzko. lol

Hey I hit another lecture today which was most enlightening on WW2.
This History Professor from Stanford University really knows how to keep your attention with such details.
He had so many details of what and why and how things the Americans did for the war.
Every time I hear of the great civilian Russian losses (which he went into detail) my mind can not comprehend, I just can't imagine the horror of Russia and Poland in that war.
Only six American civilian lives were lost in that war.
He said that when F.D.R. and Reagan jumped into the Presidency that they didn't really have an agenda and just did what was best for the country at the time and both turned out to be great Presidents in that point in time.
Kinda like Trump will have to do.

Well boy, Reagan turned out to be "greatly" wrong-headed, whereas Roosevelt was, from the working man's perspective, right on target!

Reagan turned out to be "greatly" wrong-headed

He sure put a lot of people to work which jump started the economy.
I am still waiting after 7 1/2 years for all of the "shovel ready" jobs that Obozo promised us.
Haven't seen any yet plus there are more people without jobs now and on food stamps then before Obama came into office.
Explain that to me..............no don't.
So what I am saying is that Trump can't be any worse then Obama and Crooked Hillary is simply a disaster after disaster.
The Dems way sure the hell hasn't worked in eight years so let's try it Trumps way for eight years.
When do we get our turn to have it our way for a change ?

Lyzko

He also put more people OUT of work by shedding jobs right and left, "getting government off the backs of the American people..", right? Well, I was born in '59, thus was still too young to know what working life was really like during the heyday of the New Deal, but all I know is that vast segments of the US population with nice-comfortable, ROUTINE jobs which could nonetheless support a family with relative comfort such as clerical, city jobs and office work, were eliminated almost in one fell swoop!! Never heard from my dad that government was ever on our backs to begin with:-) Maybe some fringy far-leftists loonies out there would say this, but no one whom we took seriouslyLOL

What replaced them was new-fangled, gimmicky, often gaming, technology of little use to the average, only perhaps to the super-duper technophile. Ahhemm, not all of us are the greatest and the most cutting edge, so Reagan did little for the majority of Americans, save for jump starting a questionable high-tech sector.

For this reason, while I respect Bill Gates immensely, I couldn't stand Steve Jobs!!

Todays lecture was on the Holocaust.
It was great until he compared the Syrian immigrants with the Jewish immigrants.
Ho Ho come question and answer time did I unload on him.
After three days of lectures it has become apparent that he is a typical liberal professor.
He made a condescending remark about Trump at the end of his lecture today.
Wrong in this crowd as one student in question and answer came right out and told him to keep his political views to himself.
There are two more lectures this week but now that this guy has showed his hand I may quit attending even though I need the credit.

I feel your pain, I have the same problem. Try taking a Geography course only for it to be liberal politics 101 where we learn great things like Marxism, radical feminism, white people = evil, "racist Trump" and all that other good stuff that comes with geography. In all honesty, the liberal arts/social science department is in a state of despair. Heed my warnings, the university institutions spout propaganda, it is slowly dissolving as a place for intellectual activity and more of a place to reinforce extreme liberal views and cultural Marxism. Man, Calculus is more tolerable then that drivel.

I feel your pain, +1

As a 13 year old in the UK , the history teacher described how Germany attacked Britain's our Russian allies, he totally ignored Russia's simultaneous attack with Germany against Poland, I soon put him straight, he was a Marxist loon.

This cover up of history was commonplace in 70's UK, many left wingers thought that the soviet model would be a good thing for the people of Britain many libtard teachers unionists and politicians used to go on trips to Russia to see how good things were, of course it was all a lie.

Still is, in my opinion. The Americans will tell you that they liberated Europe, the Brits will tell you that they "won" both world wars. Without any help, of course. I blame the media and the politicians for that kind of attitude and ignorance.

Lyzko

The East Germans themselves were guilty of cover-up, such as that no Jews died in Buchenwald, only sympathizers of the Communist cause:-)

I blame the media and the politicians for that kind of attitude and ignorance.

And our learning institutions that have been taken over by the Liberal professors and teachers.
This liberal university professor today argued weather it should have been the mathematical decision over the moral decision to drop the A- bombs on Japan. :-]
I sat there in disbelief to his dumbing down statement.
Oh well tomorrow is his last lecture that I must suffer through.
The East Germans themselves were guilty of cover-up, such as that no Jews died in Buchenwald, only sympathizers of the Communist cause

That's why the America G.I.'s marched the citizens of the towns (some that were within 3 kilometers from those camps) through those camps with bodies stacked up like wood piles to witness and see for themselves what was going on.
And when they did the citizens turned their heads and refused to look at the corpses.

Many still do!

When I was last in Germany, round about the beginning of 2000, I went to visit the Dachau Memorial Site. When asking directions to the site from the center of town, an older woman, maybe in her seventies, shrieked in German, " Why do you people always have to remind us.....?", to which I responded in German (affecting a Bavarian accent) "Because you people will never let us forget!"

This is only ONE of many reasons why I wouldn't vote for Trump, even if I were on my last legs. He provides "simple" solutions to concrete and serious problems which cannot be solved by building more electric fences, revenge killings etc. The solutions are of a level very few people in politics can understand, certainly not Obama:-)

TheOther
1 Jul 2016  #2024

And our learning institutions

Absolutely.

"Because you people will never let us forget!"

That's what she could've told YOU as well...

Many still do!

A few still do. The vast majority doesn't.

The solutions are of a level very few people in politics can understand,

You said a whole mouth full there Lyzko. So very true.
That is why Trump will choose someone like Newt for a running mate.
Trump to stimulate the economy and take care of the National and Newt to solve the serious International problems.
Nobody denies that Hillary would be a continuation of the failure Obama.
Besides Hillary has killed enough innocent people already.
This is why Trump is the best choice for America.

Lyzko
2 Jul 2016  #2027

My wife and I used to joke that Newt didn't have a contract WITH America, but rather, had a contract OUT ON America!!
LOL

Get it? (yuck-yuck)

@TheOther,

Who started to entire the ghastly business anyhow?? Who ostracized the Jews in the first place from integrating into gentile society, joining the military, the guilds, learning an honest trade, instead of being forced into becoming usurers??
The Church, that's who!! The lion's share of the blame for what happened lies squarely at the Vatican's doorstep.

TheOther

Correct

Trump does not have a chance.
After much reading I have finally conceded that Trump does not have a chance to win.
After what happen this last week it is quite clear that the 2016 election is signed and sealed.

The United States Attorney General (highest law enforcer in the nation) Loretta Lynch had a private meeting with Bill Clinton on her personal plane this week.
Loretta Lynch is the one and only person that will give the final recommendation to Obama on weather to prosecute Hillary over the use of her private e-mail server. (Tad bit of conflict of interest ?)

wsws.org/en/articles/2016/07/01/lync-j01.html

What in the hell is going on in this country !
Talk about corruption..............
No way are they going to let Trump have a fair chance.
After hearing this I have come to the conclusion that it is every man for himself from here on out.

3 Jul 2016  #2031

I already said this months ago.
I doubt Trump will win. The people in power dont support him, many corporations, minorities, LBGT weirdos, Hispanics, Blacks, libtards, etc are against him. Thats a lot of people.

johnny reb
3 Jul 2016  #2032

It's not them it's the Capital Hill Mafia.
Trump would upset all their apple carts and boot their worthless asses out by exposing them.
When the Clinton Crime Family can get the United States Attorney General Loretta Lynch (chief prosecutor) to meet in private with them to avoid prosecution..........that shows me that Trump has no chance at all now.
Do you now know WHY Trump calls her "Crooked Hillary" !

Does that mean that "democracy" in the US is "decided" on a private jet rather than at the ballot box?

Hahaha, the Clinton Crime Family, the CCF for short ...

Ziemowit
3 Jul 2016  #2034

Oh, I've forgotten to ask. Did Monica Lewinsky accompany Bill on that private jet?

johnny reb

Does that mean that "democracy" in the US is "decided" on a private jet

It's beginning to look like it Ziemo.
Our only hope now is that the F.B.I. submits damning evidence that puts her in prison before the elections.
Given the "Teflon ability" of the Clintons to avoid political fallout from past questionable dealings Whitewater, Chinagate, Travelgate, Monica-'gate', Clinton Foundation's "pay-to-play" - Hillary's karma may be catching up with her now.
Trump is all over this and you can bet he will be exposing her lies to the fullest to get her rightfully convicted.
Despite the dozens of FBI agents investigating criminal actions, Hillary insists this is a "review".
I have news for you Hillary, the FBI does not assign dozens of federal agents and significant taxpayer resources for a speculative "review".
The Director of the FBI has already stated this is a criminal investigation.
I would like to know how many times Crooked Hillary to the Fifth Amendment in her "voluntary interview" with the F.B.I.
I've forgotten to ask. Did Monica Lewinsky accompany Bill on that private jet?

No, "old" Monica is a has been as Bill has since been recorded of taking 28 trips on the Lolita Express private jet (where the 16 year old on the plane was not the scotch) with his buddy to his private island who was convicted of sex practices of under aged children.
Doesn't it amaze you how the liberal drive by media in America doesn't pick up on stories like this and splash them all over the front page of the New York Times Huffing and Puffington Post.

Lyzko
3 Jul 2016  #2036

Trump's imagery of Hillary and a Star of David looks to me like purposely provocative imagery, nothing less than could be expected from a man whose own father (with whom he was apparently quite close) once belonged to a watered-down, yet nonetheless racist, Long Island branch of the KKK!!!

TheOther
3 Jul 2016  #2037

Does that mean that "democracy" in the US is "decided" on a private jet rather than at the ballot box?

Has always been like that since the lobbyists took control of D.C. and its politicians. Do you really believe that the populace has a real say anywhere in the world?

johnny reb
3 Jul 2016  #2038

Do you really believe that the populace has a real say anywhere in the world?

Right on TheOther.
I just can't believe the Attorney General (top law prosecutor in America) to meet with Crooked Hillary's husband, Slick Willie, (in private) on the A.G.'s jet on the tarmac in Arizona FOUR DAYS before Crooked Hillary's "Review" with the F.B.I. on the crimes that Hillary has committed.
Color us stupid.
Like I say, Trump does not stand a chance to ousted this slime from Washington.

Lyzko
4 Jul 2016  #2039

If Trump should win (which pointwise appears nill at this juncture), the slime he'll bring into Washington would be countless times worse than anything seen in the capital, perhaps ever:-)

johnny reb
4 Jul 2016  #2040

If Trump should win (which pointwise appears nill at this juncture),

Pointwise has nothing to do with it when the Attorney General who is the one that tells Obama to indict Crooked Hillary or not meets privately four days before the F.B.I. review with Crooked Hillary's husband speaks volumes in what is going on.
(It's amazing what money can buy)
Trumps doesn't have a chance with such slimy tactics from the Obama administration.
That's why it is a must to get the Trumpster in there to say to the slime, YOU'RE FIRED !
Then over turn all of Obama's Un Constitutional Executive Orders.
Make America Great Again and put people back to work is Trumps motto.
Crooked Hillary motto is to make half of the presidential staff female.
Boy that's a priority to jump start the economy isn't it. LOL
